Jackie Gaff has provided a great resource explaining the vast array of abstract art movements active between 1910-1920. The book simply explains each movement accompanied with excellent examples to illustrate each. But there is one serious problem and that was the packaging of this work. While the size and cover of this book scream children's picture book, the concepts laid out in it are complex so it is really only for people seriously interested in art. As a result, this book is hidden from the exact people who would most benefit. I think the book needs a new package to direct it specifically to adults and the YA group focused on art. In doing so the book needs to be expanded slightly to include better known artists of each style. This is the type of book art museums should have in their shops to help explain the works being shown.
