When you first start reading this book you might think it is slow, but even, so it grabs your attention from the start. I love how it was based off real events that happened in the 1400's and how it talked about how people were healed with herbs back then. I love paranormal books and I could see why people would love this book however I just really struggled to get into it.
I love to loose myself but found I just couldn't do in this book and that is the main thing I look for in a book.
However the characters where very well written and very believable and the basis of the book was good.

Gifted in exchange for an honest review.
