I Just Want To See Trees: A Journey Through P.T.S.D.

Rate this book
Have you wondered what Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, PTSD symptoms really are and how you or a loved one can help get treatment? There are over 20 suicides per day in the United States due to military-related PTSD, and it does not need to be this way, in this book, you'll learn why... Hi, my name is Marc Raciti...and I've had a journey through P.T.S.D. as a veteran of the U.S. Army. This story is about my journey, from the very first time I realized there was a problem, to the moment I found the courage to get well. It was not an easy thing to accomplish, but somehow I managed to cross this abyss that defines my struggle and journey. My hope is that I will be able to inspire others to want to get well, and to help those who continue to suffer and may never get completely well. The concept is simple: It's about paying it forward - to help veterans and others with PTSD make it across the abyss. Once on the healing side, my wish is that they, in turn, will start helping others who are lost, and thus establish a culture of understanding and compassion for our PTSD population. If you feel like you may have symptoms of PTSD or know a loved one who does, click order now and read this book to learn how to begin the healing process.

Courageous insight into the pain and confusion of PTSD to hope and healing.

Although I have never served and cannot begin to imagine the suffering of our men and women, the authors courageously conveyed viseral feelings with an authenticity ...transporting me from pain to hope. And a big salute to Douglas II.

Interesting reading and a better understanding of PTSD. Have met Marc and think he's the real thing. A good guy all around.
