A vampire who owns a tattoo shop and has invented ink that is permanent on any immortal’s skin – no matter how fast they heal – is an intriguing idea. Beau is making a good living using his talents, but he is unhappy. The man he loves, a young human called Aaron, refused to be turned because he didn’t want to be a vampire and ran away. Beau has not gotten over him in the months since then, so when Aaron appears one day, half-dead and asking for forgiveness, Beau is shocked. But as he finds out w ...more

It took me a little bit to get into this book, it started off slow and I felt like I was missing key information to know what was going on. I think a prologue would have been helpful for us to see what happened previously with Aaron and Beau. At times I couldn’t connect with the characters but at other times I felt like I was right there with them. The story had a lot of potential if we would have seen the actua

I have read this book so many times. I love it! It's a lot out of what I normally read, for sure. It's completely like BDSM, on steroids. Aaron is all about the pain, he's probably a 12/10 painslut. Every painful thing, he wants it (including sounds, oh god) and now that he's a vamp, there's apparently no boundaries. Reading some of it was hurting me, and NO, you shouldn't use this is a reference to BDSM by ANY means. He and his Master are vampires and this is fiction.

I’m just going to give you a little understanding on what I do when I read a story so you can understand my review. To me the story itself is like a big puzzle. As you read, you collect certain pieces, and start putting it together. Once the story is complete, you have all your pieces.

So, lets just say with this book, right from the start some of my puzzle pieces didn't fit and/or somewhere during the story they changed and I had to try to arrange them differently. In the end, I h

The first ever gay BDSM that has everything I ever wanted in a story! Everything from the sex scenes to the story, I loved it all! My favorite part was all those piercings Beau made Aaron get lol. Seriously though I hope there are more Immortal Ink books, this book was published in 2016 so fingers crossed. I'm not big on stories less than 200 pages but I was intrigued by the synopsis and I'm so glad I read the book...couldnt put it down!

Book: Reclaiming
Author: Sean Michael
Rating: 3.75 Stars

I am not new to Sean Michael's work and if anyone can write hot and sexy it is this author! And is exactly what we get in this book, a hot read about a vampire, Beau, who gets his heartbroken by his love, Aaron, when he turns away from eternity with him and Aaron who then turns up six months later, now a vampire against his will. What happens next is a story about the struggle for them to get back to where they were all the while Beau, the Ma

In Reclaiming, we meet Beau and Aaron. They had a Dom/sub relationship until Aaron said he didn't want to be turned, and walked away. Realising he'd made a mistake, he compounded that by going to "the club" to try to find Beau. Instead, he gets tortured and turned against his will, and basically thrown to the kerb. Beau spends the next six months unaware of what has happened to Aaron, and mourns his loss.

When Aaron and Beau get back together, the heat is off the charts! Aaron feels like he has

Reclaiming was one hot, never-ending loop of sex and revenge.

Correction, make that avowals of revenge. And don’t forget the sex. Lots of sex. The revenge doesn’t actually come until the very end. Well, not the very end, because there was actually more sex at the very end. But I think you get the gist of the book. It was a lot of talk and no act-… well, okay, there was definitely a lot of act
Lisa The Novel Approach
First, a warning to readers. This book is not for the faint of heart. If you are not into violent stories or messy sex between vampires, then this is not the book for you. However, if you do like those things, and you enjoy novels that are erotic in nature, then you have come to the right place.

Sean Michael is well known for his more erotic novels, and this one is no exception. The premise of the novel intrigued me, and I wanted to know more about Beau and Aaron. The blurb was interesting to me,

Sean Michael has definitely gotten writing erotica down to a science that I for sure. If I has to say what most of this book was based around I would 75% of it is extremely HOT sex scenes. The other 25% was about the actual story line. But regardless it was a good read. Every scene had something else to offer the last did not.

Beau is a vampire and a Master. He owns his own tattoo shop and 8 months prior to this story starting his "boy" walked away from him when he asked him to become a vampire a

Reclaiming was certainly a very interesting read. The story starts exactly as how the blurb states. Six months earlier Beau had asked Aaron to allow him to turn him into a vampire, but Aaron had refused. Hiding in an abandoned building until he was strong enough, Aaron show up at Beau's doorstep in a half-dead, well as half dead as a vampire can be, to apologize. Beau takes Aaron back in and begins to nurse him back to health. As Aaron's story comes out, he finds Aaron was changed by force, his ...more

Eight months after his lover rejected the offer of immortality and left, Beau is more than a little surprised to see him on his doorstep. That surprise turns to anger when he realizes his once life filled lover has been turned against his will, tortured and left for dead. Determined to put Aaron back together again, Beau will have to fight not only against his boy’s inner demons and fears but also the vampire that took what didn’t belong to him in the first

I should begin this review by acknowledging that my view on Sean Michael’s current story, Reclaiming, may not be widely shared. However, when I read a novel of any kind, I am looking for a structured story. Depending on the type of genre, that story may have little to no sex, while other times intimate scenes can run rampant throughout the book. The only thing I expect is that sex scenes in some way further the plot. When I discover that a story is predominately a

This novel took me longer than usual to get through because the beginning did not hook me. I had a really hard time getting into it because I was just thrown into Aaron coming back to Beau, and it confused me. I had no idea what was happening, and not in a good way. However, the story did get better. This book isn't for the faint of heart, though. It's more an erotic novel than anything else, and while that is always a good time - and I do enjoy the author - I did want a little more of the story ...more
