Titan #7

Bishop's Queen

Rate this book
“I can't shake the feeling that somebody's watching me.”

One second Ella Leighton’s life was normal—the next, not so much. A social media maven who made her living saving sea turtles, the decision to join a reality TV show was a good one for the cause. But for her… the adjustment wasn’t easy.

Her publicist used phrases like online personality. An overnight celebrity. Everyone explained that was why she couldn’t shake the feeling. But none of their excuses could explain the letters. The pictures. And then her stalker crossed the line, triggering the demand for security.

Bishop O'Kane didn't expect to come face-to-face with his ex-girlfriend when Titan sent him on bodyguard duty. The woman he once loved, the same one he walked away from years ago, was now his responsibility. Opposites in every way, they couldn’t be more different, but maybe they had never needed each other more.

With the FBI falling short in their investigation, the Titan team must rally around the woman with millions of followers, protecting her from her own as Bishop and Ella forge a path of second chances and forgiveness, unburying the past in order to survive.

I'm sad to say my Titan bubble has been well and truly burst. As much as I loved catching up with the team, and as much as I loved Bishop I really couldn't stomach Ella, and that makes me sad. Bishop deserved so much better than her.

I'm hoping Locke and Key will rekindle my love for all things Titan because bar this one, the series has been fabulous.

I'm being rather generous with my rating 😔

Bishop's Queen marks the launch of the series of books about the newly hired members of Titan. I have loved and followed all of the previous entries to this series and I'm happy to say the Ms. Harber doesn't disappoint with this one. We get to see our old Titan teammates and how they are all doing with their families as well as how these new guys interact with them and each other. This new story involves Bishop O'Kane, newly hired by Jared Weston to work for Titan, and Ella Leighton, a blogger and advocate for saving the planet. There is another interesting bit of information about Ella, but I won't reveal it here because I consider it a spoiler for the reader. Someone's after Ella, and the interesting thing to me in this story is that we know who the bad guy is almost from the beginning. We just have to watch Ella, Titan, the police and the FBI try to figure it out before someone gets badly hurt. I received the ARC in exchange for an honest review, but I will be buying my own copy when it comes out. I received it today and couldn't put it down until I finished it. Another hit for Cristin Harber and I hope you get yours when it's released. Typical Titan--action, fiery tempers and hot sex. What more could you ask?

Barely 3 STARS- This is beyond hard to write. While I absolutely love this series and consider Cristin Harber a favorite of mine in the romantic suspense genre, I didn't love this book. I actually found it quite tedious. I know, I know. It pains me to say that. I'm giving this three stars because it's solidly written but overall, I just didn't like the story. I'm not a huge fan of second chance romances so I'll just get that out there from the beginning. But my main problem was with the heroine. I just didn't like her. Like, at all. I know she was supposed to come off as a quirky character, a free spirit. I found her flighty at best, and mostly stubborn and selfish. I can't stand heroines that need help, ask for help, but then won't accept help and do stupid stuff to undermine the help they are being given.

I've five starred a few books from this author and I'm super stingy with my five stars but sadly Bishop's Queen was more a miss than anything with me.

New recruit Bishop O'Kane's first Titan assignment is unexpected. He ends up guarding a social media celebrity from a stalker, and she just happens to be his first love. They have a history, not all of it pleasant, and they are both different people than they used to be.

Their tragic past ties them together and was an impetus for how they went their separate ways and how their lives changed course. She became obsessed with saving the environment, and he escaped to the Army. He has spent years isolated in military assignments and is a no-nonsense, tough alpha. She is an now a social media guru who is very passionate about her causes and beliefs.

Now they are mixed up in a suspenseful and dangerous situation where Ella is being threatened. And their chemistry and feelings are re-emerging after being apart for fifteen years. They never really had closure and both took on responsibility and guilt for events that transpired. Past and present collide. Hurts re-open. Feelings that were dormant rise again. Uncontrolled passion explodes. Issues they thought they buried resurface. Longstanding guilt and loss affects them.

It took me a bit to warm up to this couple, especially Ella. They had their past issues that were heartbreaking and significant, and I was immediately grabbed by the past prologue. But in present day she is very high strung, impulsive, naive, and vocal. She is afraid, but did not always make good choices. I did like Bishop. He is bossy, caring, and protective, and just wants to to do the right thing. But he is torn between duty, as well as the past and present with El.

This is a second-chance love story with healing and hope surrounded by threats and danger. It is more about suspense than mystery due to how the book is written in multiple points of view. Bishop is thrust into a situation that he would feel responsible if something happens to her on his watch, and then he would lose her again. And Ella's life is constantly at risk due to her high profile.

Are they soul mates meant to be together or just meant to repeat the same mistakes over again?

This brings the new guys Bishop, Locke, and Jax into the Titan fold. I love getting more cameos from the team and their feisty women. They are family, they have each other's backs, and make each other laugh. I really liked Locke and I hope he will be our next hero. I am not so sure about Jax yet, but I am sure he will grow on me. This series always sucks me in and transports me into this Titan universe full of excitement, suspense, humor, and romance.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Ella Leighton and Bishop O’Kane shared a past before she became Ella, a past that was filled with fun, love and laughter, until it wasn't. The events of one night changed everything and their relationship couldn't survive the loss and pain. Fast-forward to several years later and Bishop is starting his dream job with the Titan group. His first assignment? To protect a tree-hugging celebrity who turns out to be his ex-girlfriend, but so far removed from the woman he knew and loved that she could be some else.

Ella made a name for herself as an environmental activist/eco blogger and channeled all her passion into worthy causes, but along the way, she has picked up a stalker. The authorities do not consider the stalker to be a threat, but her family calls in a favor to the Titan group and she finds herself with a shadow. Having Bishop in her face every day is a painful reminder of their unresolved past, but she needs him to keep her alive, even if his methods are not necessarily to her liking.

I have enjoyed this series a lot and Black Dawn will always be my favorite book in the series, so I was so very excited at the chance to read BISHOP'S QUEEN. It has everything I enjoy reading about -a second chance romance and shared history, plus the action that this series is famous for. Unfortunately, I did not really enjoy this book and found it hard to get through for one reason: Ella.

I don't expect to like the characters within the first chapter of a book every time, but if that happens, it only increases my enjoyment of the book. In this case, Ella started out very flaky and only got worse from there. I can imagine that she was supposed to be a free spirit but she came across as selfish and difficult, with very little sense of self-preservation. My cautious side does not really like characters who need professional help of this nature but stubbornly resist and undermine efforts to keep them alive, so even though glimpses of the woman she was before she became Ella slipped through from time to time, I was already off the Ella train and they didn't change my opinion.

On the other hand, Bishop is everything I expected and more. He was both decisive and patient when he needed to be, he took his job very seriously and worked around Ella's quirks, but was still respectful of them, which gets him even more brownie points from me. There was undeniable chemistry between them and that was about the only thing I enjoyed about them as a couple. I also enjoyed catching up with the Titan team and a few of their interactions made up for Ella's drama and kept me engaged. I also have to say that Manny was an unexpected but fun character I wish had more page time.

I'm on the fence about recommending this book to any reader, so I'll let readers decide for themselves if they want to check it out. In the meantime, I'm just going to re-read Black Dawn now to get over my feelings for this book.

I'm still beyond in love with this story!! Bishop and Ella are perfect!

Want an amazingly fun and classicly still Titan story? Look no further than the latest Titan release from Cristin Harber!

First thing when you open the cover, your breath is stolen and tears threaten, and then finally fall. Then you're taken on a roller coaster ride of emotions - from laughter, to heartwarming and heartaching, to flat out freaked out. haha! Watching how Bishop and Ella are knitted together despite their surface opposites is what I've come to expect from the Titan books. At first, while this book was definitely Titan, it still seemed kinda have taken a slightly different path. There's twists and turns and I'm-not-sure-how-it'll-actually-work-out,-even-though-I-know-it-will (thank goodness for guaranteed HEAs) moments. And then *bam* the Titan intensity hits, and hits again. So not only do you get a bit of a new flavor, you still get the comforting blow-'em-up moments. haha!

I also loved getting those treasured moments of the entire Titan family bonding together. Getting to see a glimpse of where everyone is at is always appreciated and I love how Cristin doesn't leave us hanging there.

I so enjoyed my escape into the Titan world and find myself happily satisfied. And of course, as always with Harber books - ready to see where she takes us next!

#TitanStrong baby!

It had been a while since I read the last Titan book "Parker's" but honestly it is like riding a bike and getting home after a long day, you just sink in and relax losing yourself in the story. Well I did get a bit confused about the whole vlogging thing, I mean surely the more you use mobile phones and computers the more your carbon footprint is exposed affecting climate change. Or at least that is my understanding of things, but I could be wrong I'm not an expert. However that being said the whole idea was good and Ella made a living out of it, at the same time becoming a target. I really felt for both characters for what happened when they were younger, how it had affected them both. Ending up going in opposite directions one hating phones the other using it to the max, with Bishop also joining the military to escape the pain while Ella concentrated on trying to improve air quality. This is often intense and has your heart racing during the most threatening parts and action scenes, while you also find it melting when it is most loving or sensitive parts. I think one of my most favourite chapters is the Winters barbeque party, having all the expanded family and team in one place the children all joining in and the cute babies being held by these hot strong alpha males. It is also nice finally getting to know some of the new guys a bit more, with them learning to work as part of the team and together. All in all this is a great addition to the Titan series and I look forward to reading Locke & Key next.

“You deserve to hear the truth occasionally. Unvarnished, no bullcrap. I’m in love with you.” – Bishop O’Kane

Sweet, to the point, and oh good God, as sexy as everything that comes out of Harber's talented hands!

Bishop O'Kane is the new addition to the Titan team - you know, the one that Sugar and Lexi scouted in the previous book? Yup, and he didn't disappoint! I swear, I was scared he might not be good enough for the original team, but damn, he was, and fantastically at that! He was all business-comes-first, and broody but with a soft spot for kids and strong-willed women - with a sense of humor greatly appreciated from yours truly. Plus, he was GROWLING!

Definitely Titan material, so I guess Sugar was right - AGAIN!

Now, on to Ella. Ella was the famous vlogger that Bishop had to protect, since an obsessed stalker was making her life terrifying to experience, to say the least. Problem is, they once were an item before an incident that cost them both a common loved person tore them apart. I may have liked Ella at the beginning a bit. She was feisty and passionate when it came to her work and her morals. She didn't mind facing the entire world just to make sure justice prevailed.

And then... she lost me.

See, I can accept someone being uncomfortable with so many sudden changes in their routine, even if it's for their own protection. But I simply can't comprehend how someone as brave as her could not put her foot down and demand respect and some kind of privacy from her agent and partner. When it came to those two, she instantly transformed into a mindless doll, a puppet, doing and acting as they told her to! It was annoying at first, and it soon became a pet peeve! Like, congratulations, miss Leighton, you just added a new pet peeve on my list, WOW!

But the problems with Ella's personality didn't stop there! Oh, no! The woman turned out to be a downright idiot! Constantly putting others and herself in danger because she refused to accept reality. Never allowing Bishop to do his freaking job. Always putting the poor man in the spotlight for millions of viewers to criticize and analyze him. And of course she was ALWAYS the victim, why couldn't anyone understand that? But also a fighter, so no thank you to protection! (notice the sarcasm or was it subtle enough?)

Oh, oh, and she DARED to think that the entire Titan team - Jared and Bishop included - was full of mindless, meat-headed, gym-obsessed, happy-finger-trigger gun-totting brutes! Woman, I'll leave the fact you insulted our dear Boss Man, but what on Earth?! BISHOP WAS ONCE YOUR SWEETHEART, ARE YOU HONESTLY THAT SHALLOW TO JUDGE OTHERS BASED ON APPEARANCE FOR ALMOST THE WHOLE BOOK WHEN YOUR JUDGEMENT HAS PROVEN COUNTLESS TIMES TO BE FAULTY AND KEEP EVERYONE TOXIC AS CLOSE TO YOU AS POSSIBLE?!?!

All in all, the story was great. Packed with action and suspense, and tons of sexual tension. Tension that always delivers the best hot scenes, as Cristin Harber has proved from day one. And while we pretty much know the stalker right from the start, it still didn't lose its edge as the protagonists were trying to stay out of his radar without much success. The only reason why this didn't get the fifth star was Ella. I think it was the first time I seriously hated a main character of this series, and I hope it will be the last.

Now I'm waiting for Locke's story! LET ME TELL YOU, I FEEL THIS ONE WILL BE MY TITAN MAN!!!

“You didn’t change everything. You set the bar. And when you weren’t there, the world fell apart. Now that you’re back, everything, for me, has gone back to as it should.” – Ella Leighton

Ella Leighton is facing the growing pains of being an internet sensation: she has picked up a stalker. Her publicist thinks it’s no big deal, but the threats are starting to scare her.

Bishop O’Kane is the new guy on the Titan team. He hasn’t had much time to settle in to Titan yet, and though he isn’t ecstatic about pulling bodyguard duty, he’ll do what needs to be done to prove he can make it as a Titan. But he didn’t expect his charge to be none other than the girl he walked away from so long ago.

It was clear from very early on that the spark still simmers between these two. While their history was heartbreaking (and one of those events that would break couples with far more maturity than they had at the time), I loved watching these two struggle to align their current feelings with the pain of their past.

I struggled knowing who the stalker was the whole time. In books like this, part of the suspense comes from the not knowing and I felt like that was missing, though even knowing who was behind the threats didn’t mean readers know what will happen next.

This was a little different than other Titan books in that the plot is not driven by the events in a mission. Much of the story takes place over the course of Ella’s everyday activities, while Bishop follows closely behind as her personal security. The team is present in the background, but Bishop has been given control of the situation and doesn’t have to check in with anyone except Locke, his relief.

I enjoyed the pacing of this story. The aspects of Ella’s daily routines keep the story moving as readers (and Bishop) wait for the next threat to drop, to see how she will react and what clues the stalker might leave to uncover who is behind the threats.

This was a nice addition to the Titan series, with cameos by favorite characters. I love watching the entire group interact and there are a couple great examples of those interactions in this story. It was a fast paced, dramatic read with suspense, danger, and a second chance at the one that he walked away from.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Cristin Harber latest Titan Novel will give you all the feels its based on second chances a love never forgotten so when Bishops first task for Titan is to be a bodyguard to a Celebrity he's less than impressed not exactly what this former service man had in mind he'd prefer to be out somewhere hostile.

Eco Ella finds herself in a situation where she needs help it becomes apparent that she may well have a stalker and he's getting closer and closer to her so when her parents call in a favour from Jared Westin and his Team Titan to protect her until this is all sorted little does she know that her life is going to have yet another complication added to it.

I can't really find the words to give you more without spoiling it but I do urge you to go get your hands on the swoon worthy, hot as hell Bishop he definitely fits right in with the Hot Alphas of Titan and further more we have another two new members of Titan that we are briefly introduced to. I will say that even though this is a standalone book please read Live Wire first as this books comments on situations that happened in that book and unless you have previously read it you may be feel like your missing a piece.

Another fantastic read I cant wait to see what you give us next.

Believe it or not, this was my first Cristin Harber book. I know I know. How could that possibly be? What have I been waiting for? The answer is I don't even know!

This book was so intriguing, I read it in one sitting. Jared and Ella had so much chemistry, I could feel it. I loved their banter. I loved the storyline. It was action packed and suspenseful. It was romantic and angsty. Everything about this book, I loved!

I will definitely be going back to read more from this author.

It saddens me to say but I was so disappointed. The Prologue was an excellent set-up, bang-on, a real gripper. Then there was Ella. Weak, wilty, stupid Ella. I liked Brick, Bishop's dog, better than I liked Ella. And, okay, I like to be honest so I'm going there - the plot was spectacularly weak, too. I read through to the end and I'm sorely disappointed that it was hard to do. Now somebody get me some beef jerky!

I loved this book. I loved seeing what it would be like for a new guy on the Titan team. It was fun, sexy (oh so sexy!), and full of suspense. The sparks between Bishop and Ella were awesome because they both had reasons for doing what they did with their lives after a tragic accident tore them apart as young loves. This is a great second chance romance story. It was great to see Bishop develop as a character as he came to understand Ella more and how willing he was to make her happy.

Oh, my. Cristin Harber is not slowing down! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough!
Bishop is: an Alpha male, a warrior, a sweet, sexy, very large and intense man! Bishop O’Kane is a newbie at Titan Security and he is lost.
Eloise is: driven, passionate, focused, trusting and incredibly sweet. Eloise is Ella and a bit crazy!
These two people share a past that started when they were teenagers in high school. They fell in love. Then tragedy found them running from each other. For each of them, their’s is a past that, for years, has been eating away at their inner selves. Neither one is happy. Neither one has the courage to look back. Both feel the undeniable guilt that tore them apart and are helpless to find a way to reconnect and fix it.
I didn’t want to put this book down. From the very beginning through to the end, this story captivated me. Bishop and Ella experience a tragedy so great that neither one can deal. Bishop escapes to the Army to find purpose. Ella turns to the environment. It’s the only thing, in her mind, that will make this world a better place to be and absolve her of some of her guilt.
This love story starts out so sweet and innocent but is tragically torn away by shock and grief. They each learn how to go on and live their lives avoiding their past and their feelings for each other. Being a celebrity in cyber world creates its own kind of crazy. They are thrown together into a world of the internet where nothing is private, the unknown is faceless and brings with it an unexpected type of danger.
While Ella lives her life like an open book, carefree and very public, she learns some very important lessons about privacy and trust with Bishop as her protector and her hero.
Bishop feels like he is all alone. He is in a new job and doesn’t yet understand the pecking order nor does he feel connected to his team. He soon learns the true meaning of Titan Strong!
This is fast paced and full of suspense. I was intrigued and entertained throughout the entire book. Cristin Harber knows how to write a multi-faceted, human interest, love story that incorporates hot military men, forbidden love, hot sex, family values, camaraderie and brotherhood. I love how she integrates the entire Titan team and their families into the story. It just works.
I love this book. Titan Security is a large group of strong, larger than life, warriors dedicated to home and country, keeping our world safe any way they can. Each warrior is unique and has his special story of suspense, intrigue, passion and love. Cristin Harber teases the imagination and brings these fictional characters to life in a way that makes the reader feel their every emotion, experience their frustrations and live their excitement, including heartfelt love and hot sex!

Romantic suspense second chance romance mixed with an opposites attract theme

Bishop’s Queen is a well written romantic suspense second chance romance mixed with an opposites attract theme. From start to finish I was completely drawn in to this book and eager to figure out where it was going to lead and there were some surprising events that I truly never would have predicted for when things hit their climax at the end of the book before we get to the HEA. While this is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone, although for those who have read the previous books I imagine it’s nice to see familiar faces pop up and catch up on their stories further; I have personally only read one other book in this series but could follow along no problem.

Told from both The book is told mostly from Ella’s and Bishop’s perspectives but there is an odd few chapters told from a third perspective to help build the suspense of the book and where it would lead. From the moment these two likeable characters are re-introduced after tragedy tore them apart years earlier, there is a clear chemistry between the pair, albeit a bit feisty with their strong opinions and thoughts. Both characters were well developed and evolved over the course of the book, especially Ella in having to figure out the lines of her ‘online personality’ and reality. The steady pace adopted overall worked well in re-developing Ella and Bishop’s relationship and I loved how while there were some sexual scenes between the pair, they didn’t take over the plot too much, more just added a support to the relationship.

Bishop’s Queen is excellently written with a good writing style and flow. The plot was well thought out and steady from start to finish with a clear build up to an exciting and unpredictable climax.I personally found that the author managed to get a good natural balance with the romance and the suspense, especially with moving along the relationship between the couple in a way that fit with the storyline perfectly. As I’ve said, despite being part of a series, this can be read as a standalone with a HEA tying up all things for Ella and Bishop.

Overall, if you enjoy a good romantic suspense, definitely don’t hesitate to give this book a read!

My obsession with The Titan Group is becoming pretty well know among my friends. And the newest Titan recruit, Bishop O'Kane does nothing, NOTHING, to lessen this obsession.
Bishop's Queen, number nine in the Titan line-up; is everything I was hoping for, but nothing that I expected. The pages aren't riddled with bullet holes from some far away combat zone. No, the terror this time hits closer to home. We still get all the delicious tension that Harber is so good at developing within the plot line and the characters. But this time the boys are trading in their tactical gear for tuxedos, and the result is swoon worthy.
I've screamed it from the rooftops, again and again. Harber is like some amazing psychic, CIA trained, word wielding bad-ass. She had me teary by 2%. It's like she knows exactly how to reach inside the rib cage, and rip out a beating heart, make your soul bleed and then put you back together a better person in the span of thirty-some-odd-chapters.
Bishop's Queen is in the genres of romantic suspense, and military romance. But it also falls under the second chance sub-genre. Second Chance's aren't a "new" topic for Harber at all, she has a few of them. And they are all amazing and unique soul shredders. It's a one of my very favorite sub-genres, and she nails it every time. I love how she can intertwine the past and the present, how little words might seem meaningless, but later mean everything.
My warnings for Bishop are fairly light compared to other Harber novels. There isn't combat related violence here, but still some violent and creepy stuff. Also, lots of hot graphic sex, f-bombs, and other things that prudes hate.

Bishop O'Kane is the new addition to the Titan group and his first job is to be bodyguard to Internet Sensation Celebrity Blogger Ella Leighton (Eco Ella), not Titans normal gig, but a favour was called in and with Bishop being the new guy and not on a job he was assigned to be by her side. At first Bishop thought this was all a big "Joke", like a welcome to the family kinda thing, as it turned out that Eco-Ella just happened to be the one that he let get away.
Ella with her new celebrity status seem's to have picked up a stalker and not even the police are taking her seriously.....until it starts to escalate and things then get a bit sinister.
Bishop and Ella have amazing chemistry and they seem to connect on a level that only a few can - they get each other. As they grow closer, Ella's stalker ups his game on the attacks and starts to make mistakes due to frustration. Not to give anything away but who it is hits pretty close to home for Ella. Bishop is torn between doing things by the book and taking matters into his own hands, he is used to taking action from being a Ranger and sitting back waiting drives him a bit crazy. They disagree on how to handle things and this just adds to the suspense and you are hyper aware of everyone. You also get to catch up with Jared and Sugar and all the other Titan favourites, even some new guys as they help in the background.
It is an excellent read and i read it in one go, its hard to put it down, it was so good. The suspense, danger and anticipation will definitely keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. An excellent addition to the Titan Series!!!

I received and advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. So, full disclosure..... I love the Titan series! I was beyond excited to read this next installment. And it's really the first book in the next generation of Titan men and their women. This book is a stand alone book but the experience is much, much richer if you've read the other Titan books first.

We were introduced to Bishop in "Live Wire" and really I had to admire someone who would take on Sugar like Bishop did and still have her adore him. So I knew he had to be a strong, smart and dependable man or Sugar would never recommend him to join the Titan team. In this book he proves just how right she is (as always!). The book is fast paced, and easy read and pulled me in from the first page. The ending was a bit of a surprise as well, which is never a bad thing when reading a book! The "who" you figure out pretty early on but the "how" kind of blew me away. I loved watching Ella and Bishop dance around each other in the beginning and then learn to fall in love with the people they have grown into over the years apart. For some, first love really IS the ONLY love and this was so true for these two characters. I also loved how they learned to embrace the differences in each other as adults. Best of all was watching Ella grow into a more self assured and stronger woman who finally stood up for herself and her man!

I have been a HUGE fan of the Titan series since book one came out. I'm happy to say that this time, I actually was in on the ground floor. I'm also happy to see Bishop O'Kane get his own book after his FUBAR moment of tying Sugar to a chair in Live Wire (In case you didn't know, Sugar is the boss's wife) I'm not so sure he deserved what he got in Ella though.

Bishop is new to Titan Group, and for his assignment? He gets to play body guard to internet celebrity Ella Leighton. Ella is an eco-blogger known as Eco-Ella, known for protecting Sea turtles and barfing at the very sight of meat. (Can you say Over. The. Top?) She blogs and vlogs about everything. She also has a stalker. Did I happen to mention Ella was once his girlfriend?

Ella is like most conservationists. She's a vegan, and she protests and pushes her views on people. A lot. At points in the book I'm not certain whether to laugh or groan and pray Bishop duct tapes her mouth, she is her own worst enemy quite a bit of the time. Her ex-boyfriend is a massive creep, and her publicist is pushy and rude. But Bishop handles it all on top of the threats against her. This was a fun and entertaining read with some totally laugh out loud moments and some hot, sexy love scenes to balance it all out.

Just a word of advice. Please. No more heroines like Ella, I think the other readers agree. She's what the industry would call, "too stupid to live." She's just not a Titan/Delta girl.

Finally, a new Titan book! I just adore this series and Bishop & Ella were so worth the wait.

Bishop & Ella have a past together, one particular event marks the end of life as they know it, the end of their friendship, the end of their love, it also marks the begining of who they are to become. Years later, Ella has made a name for herself as an eco blogger/vlogger. She has battled big corporations and now has a stalker. When things start getting out of hand, her parents call in a favor and Titan Group is brought in to keep Ella safe. Bishop is new to Titan and wouldn't you know it...his first assignment ends up being his first love....the girl he left behind, the girl who meant everything to him.

Bishop does everything in his power to keep Ella safe, meanwhile she is just trying to live her life and work her job as she has always done, but to stay safe, she needs to give a little and accept that Bishop knows what he is doing. The sparks fly between these two in and out of the bedroom....opposites do attract....but can they stay together?

I adored this book, it was fun, funny, exciting, & intriging....these characters are so hot, they will melt your e-reader. Cristin Harber continues the Titan series with an absolutly fantastic new story and a great glimpse into some favorite Titans from past books.

There is a reason that Cristin Harber is one of the leading voices in military romantic suspense. Every single book is action packed, full of twists and turns, super steamy and puts the reader in the driver's set with writing so fluid you feel as if you are a participant in the story rather than just reading it. Bishop's Queen is in no way an exception to this. We finally get a glimpse into the next generation of Titan warrior with the introduction of Bishop O'Kane. From the very beginning I fell in love with Bishop in all his Alpha glory. The opening sequence and the loss that he felt due to an accident beyond his control, also left me feeling wrung out and half of a box of Kleenex consumed. I will also admit that I have never disliked a heroine as much as I disliked Ella Leighton. My heart hurt for her as well. And the accident that changed Bishop's world, changed Ella's as well. Each of them trying to better the world and to make their mark on it, but the way that Ella handled herself was a huge turn-off for me. Wanting so badly for Bishop to find his happiness, it was easy to set those feelings aside once I saw Ella heal him. The Titan series is one of my vary favorite series of all time, and it is so fun to see the series expand beyond the core group. I cannot wait to see where we are taken next on this incredible adventure!

Love a second time around really can work when you let go of the past grieve properly for what and who you lost and totally believe in each other.

Bishop is an awesome new recruit for Titan all the Titan women think so and why not he did save Sugar and Lexi's butts not long ago that more than proved he was destined for Titan. Bishop is strong, protective and damn good at what he does.

Ella is a social media tree hugging eco goddess and the world mostly loves her except for that pesky stalker yep those stalkers can really put a dampener on your life, but Ella is having none of that she is strong stubborn and sassy, she is also a huge royal pain in Bishops butt and a blast from his past, well they do say your past will come back to bite you.......lol

Bishop is determined to do his job even if she drives him insane he will protect Ella no matter what and yes that no matter what also includes even if he never stopped loving her.

An exciting Titan adventure that shows true love never dies it can just get a bit sidetracked.

Loving Bishop and his team mates! As if Titan couldn't get any better....
Bishop was introduced to us while tying up Boss Man's very pregnant wife, Sugar, while she and Lexi were out on their last hoo-rah before Baby Westin makes her arrival. Reading Live Wire (Titan Book 10) is not necessary prior to reading about Bishop finding his way into the Titan family and his way back to his first love but I would definitely recommend it!

Cristin Harber's books are very well thought through. One of the things that stands out most to me while reading her stories is how "complete" the stories are. We learn each character's backstory, their distinct personalities and what drives them to become the bad-ass alpha men and kick-ass strong women they are. They become so real to me I expect to see them at the next family bbq. More often than not I do get to see them again interwoven into the next book in the series. If you haven't become a Titan addict yet, I encourage you to start at the beginning and by the time you read about Bishop you'll be Titan Strong like me!

3.5 stars

I want to start by saying that I am a HUGE Titan fan. I've read all of them and consider them an complete auto buy. This book however didn't even read like the same author to me. It kind of plodded along, and while I liked Bishop, I just couldn't get into Ella at all. She got on my nerves and was so off the wall that sometimes I had trouble following the conversation swings. As for action, there was some but not a lot. It was more suspense over some small incidents that would be unsettling for someone with Ella's convictions, but didn't seem scary to me at all. On the good side, there are plenty of my favorite Titan characters interspersed in the story, and I really enjoyed Locke. I definitely will continue reading Cristin Harber and this series because I realize much of my problem with this book is likely personal preference, and one book out of all of her other amazing books is not enough to dissuade me.

Superbly Done!!!

Wow! Cristin Harber has done it again....this time with a more humorous twist. Thoroughly enjoyed reading Ella and Bishop's story. Definitively a unique Titan story. And so great to read about the gang and their hooligans once more! Welcome to the family Ella and Bishop!

DNF

I love this series and really tried to get through this book, but I just couldn't. I did not like Ella at all. I found her to be very annoying. Didn't feel any chemistry between her and Bishop. Had to force myself to get as far as I did. Unfortunately, it just did not hold my interest and I had to DNF it.
