This book was completely crazy-making to me. Erica and Matt have so many emotional triggers the other keeps stepping on, that I felt like I was at a ping pong match with all the back and forth, yes-no, on-off business. Matt stepping up and growing up during this book had me in love with him all over again. But Erica’s rapid about-face in the middle of the story kind of left me with whiplash and left me not liking her very much at that point. I hate the cliff-hanger this book ends on.

Wow..literally crawling out of my skin. Love Matt and his personalities. Wasn't sure I would, after reading about Damon and Bethany, but as I read this series it's beautiful to see the growth and realization he experiences about life and love. It surprising how much of a 180 Erica has after a single incident, but I guess experience will do that to someone. Ali writes beautifully, artfully engages you into the mindset of each character. I always enjoy the different POV's. Beyond excited for the next book!!

I’ve been looking forward to this second book in the series and seeing what was next for Matt and Erica! Their story has been all about Erica’s love/infatuation with Matt and getting him to notice her beyond friends or co-workers. Book 1 left us with many unanswered questions about Matt and Book 2 didn’t disappoint in answering them….and bringing in some new ones…like what is Mitch’s REAL agenda…why or why must he interfere now that Matt has convinced Erica to give him a second chance?

This book showcases Matt putting on his “big boy” pants and coming to realize (finally!!!) what Erica MEANS to him and that he wants her back and nothing and no one is stopping him from getting what he wants….Hello Alpha, glad you could join us!

Erica is hesitant to even consider Matt again but that pesky heart of hers wants what it wants and now they are finally a couple…throw in Matt’s painting of Erica and a bidding war with Mitch ensues. In order to get Mitch to stop bidding and ruining Matt’s show, Mitch propositions Erica…One night and “dessert” is MANDATORY!

Damn you Ali Parker for leaving us with this tantalizing cliffhanger…I cannot wait for Book 3 to see what’s next for Matt and Erica!

I have never wanted to smack someone for being so stupid so much. That is what happens when you read Ali Parker’s books, you get invested in these people and you just want the best for them. Though frustrating at times, these books will keep you always wanting more.

This is the continuation of Matt and Erica’s story, so of course it’s frustrating. They can’t get out of their own way and they are dead set on jeopardizing their love for each other. I felt their love dripping from the pages. Typical of Ali Parker though, there is no easy love, these two are the biggest obstacles, which might sound annoying but it was actually funny to see someone else do the same stuff I did once.

These are not complicated books, which is just what I want. Sometimes you just need to read about two people fighting for love, even if they are fighting themselves. I love me a good easy read that captivates me and when finished I can’t stop thinking about it. If that sounds like something you might be interested in, pick this book up.

Bloody Mitch needs to f#$% off and die. I apologize, I just finished this so my blood is still a little boiling from the cliffhanger. Matt and Erica are finally in a good place. They talk about 'our' things in casual conversation. They are so great together. Then there is the old douche bag that basically blackmails her for sex. It is another amazing book in the series, well worth the read. But maybe if it's not to much to ask, can the ending of the next one not make me want to throw my kindle across the room in tears? Please?

I loved the book! It keeps you on tender hooks because, of the couples characters. There is always something keeping them apart! Matthew's place in his family, the youngest, the loss of his mother at a young age and adjusting to having a step mother and step sister. Erica has her own problems and when you think everything is perfect it turns immediately! Just know things will change, for the good & bad! I recommend reading this series.

I love Matt and Erica, and this book did not disappoint. In true Ali Parker fashion, the cliff hanger on this book left me speechless. I love that Ali's characters have such struggles to reach their eventual happy endings. This book starts shortly after book 1 ends with Matt and Erica apart, but they cannot fight the attraction, and secret love for each other. Any fireworks ensue.

If you love Ali's books, you will love this one. And in true Ali form, the way this story plays out is totally different than her other books, and made me waiting excitedly for the next book!

Ali Parker, the queen of cliffhangers, is at it again, but before we get there, lets go back a little ways in the book. I really love Matt. He is sexy and so much fun. I think he and Erica really balance each other out, and are perfect for each other. She needs a little fun in her life, and a lot of love. Matt certainly fits the bill. Then, there is Mitch. I have not liked him from the beginning, and now I really do not like him. I am hoping that he gets what he deserves, the boot, in more ways than one. This is such an enjoyable read, and I can't wait for the next book. I voluntarily reviewed this advance copy. I really like this series!
