If I could rate this book a 4.5 I would. This is a review for the audiobook and ebook 'Dragonfly in the Land of Swamp Dragons' by Resa Nelson. Resa's narration did seem a bit slower and not as confident as the first two audio books but this did not deter me from enjoying the audiobook. After listening to the third installment of this series I was amazed at the authors imagination. Some writers seem to get stuck in an old repetitive pattern or genre, not Resa Nelson. Her world building is wonderful and I can visualize all details of every scene. Her characters change and mature in each book. Each one is like seeing their world through different eyes. Greeta, the main character, questions herself and is trying to find out how she fits in with the Shining Star people and all the nations plus how to shift into her dragon form. Finehurts is still up to no good and a real pain in the A**. There is so much more to Red Feather then she ever knew and what is he doing with the swamp people. The book is exciting, adventuresome with plenty of drama. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the writing and you're sure to enjoy the foreign world that Resa Nelson has created.
I was given a free copy from StoryOrigin in exchange for an honest review.
