It takes a lot for me not to finish a book, it’s like a story just taunts for me to finish it. During books 7-9, I wasn’t going to finish it. There are typos, poor sentence structure and wrong names in places. This wasn’t the first time but that and plot line inconsistencies and I had had enough.
The problem, I really like the original pretense of the story. Megan is forced into Michael’s life because of her father. Now Megan father is in trouble and Michael is helping because he cares for Megan. Also Michael’s father show up at the house claiming to be in trouble.
Anthony, Michael’s father, is pure evil and even when Megan figure out that he drugged her, she submits to him to prevent Michael from finding out. This is just stupid. Megan knows the truth and is still afraid? She goes to her room to make a plan and falls asleep and then it’s like that section of the book never happened. He’s now assaulting her and she still thinks she’s helping Michael? Who knows because since Megan’s confrontation with Anthony telling him she knows the truth, it’s not addressed again. Just her fear of Michael being hurt. Give me a break, after when Linda has told her, why can’t she trust Michael or Linda enough to at least eliminate situations where it’s easy for Anthony to get to her.
Book 10 did give some redemption to the previous 4 books but overall there were just too many story line gaps, too many assumptions needed to be made, too many scenes left out. I had planned to read more of Alexis Brooks books but right now I’m not sure I’ll be able to do that if those books read similar to this one.

Wow, what a great series. Why He Sins is a fabulous, hot yet heartwarming romance. I thought it was a great book, and I enjoyed the characters, Megan and Michael. This book was richer and more real to me than many of the other billionaire books I have read. It also had a realistic storyline and plot that interlace with murder, suspense, romance, and keeps you enthralled with the characters. When reading the story, it may make you feel sad, confused, appalled, and even euphoric. In this box set Megan’s father was kidnapped, and Michael has to find him as well as figure out a way to rescue him before it is too late. The drama continues with Megan and Michael’s father, who is staying with him on the island. Will Michael find out what he father did to Megan? What secret is Megan hiding from Michael? Michael is also hiding a dark secret from Megan—something that only his father and his housekeeper know. Will Michael be able to tell Megan his dark secret? There are several twists and turns within the story that makes it interesting—I was surprised what happened in one episode. If you like your romance with a dose of sweetness, a dab of erotic and a pinch of fun, you will love Why He Sins. Do yourself a favor and start at book 1 and binge read this series. You won’t regret it!

The continuation from the first box-set 1-5 into this box-set is excellent and flawless. I found it to be fascinating and interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this box-set. The story covers Gracie, who works at a mail order business which is owned by Jordan and Gracie is very interested in him. Jordan, Jordan fetches Gracie's laptop from her office and discovers a computer journal written by Gracie about intimate longings for him now this is where the story really starts to become very interesting. What you will find in this box-set is, drama, suspense, intrigue, mystery, action, adventure, murder, secrets, threats, attempted rape, abduction, lust, emotional feelings, love, romance and some hot erotic scenes. The plot is well thought out and written with a intriguing and entertaining story-line. The characters are well developed with emotion feelings of doubt, lust, needs and desires, suited to the situations they find themselves in. I would recommend this book to people that like to read a entertaining box-set with a happy ending.

You really need to ready books 1-5 before you read this. Megan is given to Michael to repay a debt by her father - however now her father is in trouble and Michael is trying to keep both her father and Megan safe.
Anthony, Michael’s father, turns up at the house and is giong to become a source of trouble because he is pure evil. He drugs her and tries to take advantage of her and generally does his best to blackmail her into doing various sexual things with him. Eventually everything gets sorted out and you need to read the book to find out how.
Whilst they are written well and there is a lot of drama and action in the book, I found it a bit far fetched.

Why He Sins by Alexa Brooks
Another great series, loves the way Alexa Brooks wrote these books. The detail was like you were
right there in the story. There are so many things you won't see coming in this story, it is so hard to
put down. I read the first 5 books first, I suggest you do to and couldn't wait to read these last 5.
Wonderful story line and I recommend all 10 books.

Loved this series, the best Alexa has written so far. Loved the plot and all the secrets, twists and turns. The drama between the characters unfold with each book and betrayal is the name of the game. All the while a happy ending is in sight.

This is the last books in this series. I was glad to see Michael and Megan find some happiness and all problems are resolved. Still kept the roller coaster ride going. A satisfying conclusion to the story.
