An interesting tale of darkness, garlic, sense memory and learning. I was a little confused at times the full extent of the tale but really enjoyed reading it even though the mystery and tale felt as if it could have been expanded a little more.

A very atmospheric short story. It's quite vague about the supernatural goings-on described and so I was left ultimately confused by the actual events. I'd guess it has some basis in folklore, but one I'm not familiar with.
