This book surpassed all my expectations for how this series would end. I do hope though that this isn’t the end of seeing these characters. We see so much destruction in order to have the cycle end and hopefully for good. We also see hope, love, a family reunite, a young man come into his own and lose a lot in order to save many, and a beautifully sad set of stories-love and otherwise.

This picks up where the last book ended and we are starting off with a bang and some action. Michelle grows so much as the Godess and she sees the big picture in so many ways. we get lots of shocks and eye openers especially when we go on to save Gediyon and learn his past and his part in the cycle. I was flabbergasted and so.so wanted him to have a happy ending. And wolf as a Mysioch was just sad to see. Him fighting himself was brave and beautiful. His love for Dre and his friends is what had him fight and that is what had Gediyon do the same particularly at the end when he did what he did. I hated to see Dre so heartbroken and feel like she was the cause of all things that happened. It tears your heart out. So does the story and fates of Wolf and Gediyon. He was such an amazing and complex character. He fought for so long and changed into such a sweet man despite his circumstances that his story throughout this book and his struggles will tear at your heart.

Seeing Jayse mature before your eyes will have you smile but also be sad.He had to face so much and do so much that your heart goes out to him. When he learns the truth of cyal and Saei and yet still sees the good and wanting to change the ending it brings hope to you. Watching him have to confront his dad and do what he did to save them and others was heartbreaking. He still maintains his soft caring gentle man was amazing after all he did and saw. He sacrifices so much and has so much sadness and destruction around him and yet he still holds on to hope. Him and Michelle and their fate is just so sad I was hoping that could change but the way both are willing to sacrifice for each other and Starrs is incredible and beautiful. When Dastin changes and we see him and Jayse work together it’s perfect and begins the healing process.

The characters are so complex and bring out so much emotion in you. they are strong by themselves but together as they fight for hope and peace they are a force and it is impossible not to feel what they do and want the same as they do. Each character goes through so much and grow in different ways. Michelle learns she is stronger than appears and has the compassion to do what is necessary even if it hurts her heart. that last moment with Jayse tears your heart in two. They so so belong together and their sacrifices truly will be heartbreaking and heartwarming.

The story itself is alluring, intriguing and just ensnares you from the beginning. So many intricate webs are woven and things need to fit that it shows the strength of Adelle Yeung’s tale telling skills as nothing less that amazing and gorgeous. the story isn’t one that gives us every happy ending. We see so many sacrifices and sadness and yet from all this hope still blooms. Change still occurs and unity begins. Adelle Yeung has created a adventurous, beautiful, fascinating and simply gorgeous tale that grabs you from the beginning and doesn’t let you go. Jayse and Michelle will have you feel so much and root them on to the end and their friends will have you smile as you see their loyalty and friendship blossom while they help these two to the end. Even when you don’t believe they are helping Jayse and Michelle they are in subtle ways. Dre and Gediyon’s story will really have you feel so much and also get you better understanding of them. Dastin will have you frustrated at times but also smile he is the one that helps you to take a breath and feel good is coming out of this after you see his change. Jayse will always have your heart for his is so kindhearted and has a heart of gold. Watching all he has to decide and sacrifices that must be made by him shows his true character and being. Michelle is the same way. She shows resilience and compassion while making the tough decisions and sacrifices

This is the story of Jayse and Michelle trying to stop the cycle and have the cycle end forever. Of the path they take to save those around them and change the world at the same time. the sacrifices and decisions they make and how they go about finding their way to seeing what must be done to end the cycle. We see so much darkness that you wonder how they keep hope but with the help of their friends they stay steady and work to make Starrs have peace and a better place. Together they find themselves and become stronger people. they also change the true story of their reincarnated selves and hopefully they will be seen in another story one day.

. A truly amazing and wonderful story and ending that will surpass all expectations for these characters and have you hoping for more of this story.

The least favorite of the 3.

If I Had not already invested my time in reading the other two books I probably would not have been able to force myself to finish reading this one. I really enjoyed the first two in this series and bought the third one to find out what the conclusion would end up being. It was okay and did tie everything in at the end but it was very drawn out and when I say repetitious I mean extremely repetitious in several parts of the book . The first half of the book was fine but after that I basically skimmed the book until perhaps the last hundred pages . Even those pages are easily read at a fast pace because you already could predict what was going to happen.

While I felt both books 1 and two were not necessarily written solely for a teenager book 3 was definitely geared towards a teenager and a love story . About all I can say is I made it through it.

The Last Winter Moon: The Cycle Of The Six Moons (book 3 in the series) continues right where book 2 (An Eclipsing Autumn) leaves off, and immediately pulls you back into the action and mayhem with the final moons set to rise. There was so much happening: action and adventure (lots and lots of action and adventure ☺), twists, reveals, heartbreak, and perfectly written and well-placed backstories of a few key characters, guaranteeing a read where there’s never a dull moment to be had. My favorite backstory was of Gediyon. I loved getting to know more about him since he’s my fav. By the end, all the pieces laid out over the series came together beautifully bittersweet to wrap up the trilogy. Out of all three books in the series—although I love them all ;) —this book was definitely my favorite. If you loved the first two, you will absolutely love this one too. I recommend it to everyone who enjoys YA fantasy and action and adventure. I can’t wait to seeing what Adelle Yeung writes next.

I was given an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A fitting end

I really enjoyed this series through and through, and from start to finish, the love shared between our cast has been frivolous, feelsy and overall well-crafted. I look forward to more from Adelle!
