Give this to graduates of the "Where's Waldo?" and "I Spy" books (grades 2-5). In elaborate scenes from history, see if you can pick out the anachronisms: everything from the obvious (a wristwatch on a medieval knight) to the not-so-obvious (chickens in a stone age village). The sweet spot for this book is ages 9-12. I had 5th graders (including my own daughter) clamoring for this one!

Where's Waldo/I Spy meets history except this time readers are challenged to find the mistakes!

History shown in an I spy/ what's wrong with this picture style. Could be good for a history/ STEM program. Very fun for browsing and learning about history in an unique way. Gr. 3-5.

This is a really creative twist on search and find books. Look for the historical mistakes (aka anachronisms) and find twenty of these on each set of pages in a comedic, cartoonish scene from history. Then flip the page and see the answers. Some anachronisms are obvious like headphones and speakers while others are a challenge. Settings range from ancient Egypt, medieval times, and beyond. Test your history knowledge & searching skills with this entertaining book.

Gr 1–5—Travel through the lands of long ago in this search-and-find title with an educational twist. After a brief introduction to two unnamed child guides and the premise of the book, a time line of the different periods and cultures, from the Stone Age to the era of piracy, is presented. From there, the real fun begins. Wood and Jolley devote a full spread to each of the 10 time periods featured. The catch: hidden in the
