This is a cute story. Cat owners can relate to the behaviour that is seen in many of our pets and these behaviours are brought to life in the small story of Bella Gets Rescued.

The illustrations were soft and eye catching, a sure win for those little readers who delight in stories that are able to be told through the pictures. Not too long that it will lose the attention of the young reader and not too short that it rushes the story, this book is a perfect balance for a little child.

What's more is that Bella Gets Rescued has an underlying message to us all: we should not fear.
The parallel of being lost to Christ and then found is a major theme in this children's book.

I see this as a great Sunday School lesson, a homeschool lesson, or as an entertaining read that will stick with the little ones as they grow. Lessons of love, acceptance, patience, and thankfulness will gain a foothold all because of this beautiful little story.

This is a children's book that I can greatly recommend and I look forward to presenting it to my niece on her birthday.

Ellie Wakeman uses her own cat as the inspiration for this adorable children's book, which follows lost kitty Bella, who doesn't know she needs to be found. As Bella finds her forever home, she struggles with knowing who to trust and desires to be lost again--although, she doesn't realize that is where she would be. As she begins to get comfortable in her new home, she is finally able to find the love she has been missing. At the end of the book, Wakeman draws a clear parallel to how lost we are until we are found by God. With beautiful illustrations, this book was a delight to read to my own children. *I received this book in exchange for my honest review.*

My kids (3 & 5) absolutely loved this sweet story. A little kitten that didn't know she was lost is adopted and loved by a family. She is scared for a long time and finally realizes she is loved and learns to love in return.

My 5 year old daughter especially relates to this. Shy in nature and very aware of her surroundings, she has read this many, many times.

We are all like Bella, it is a good reminder that we are loved.
