Story has written a couple of books about Erich von Daniken's theory about ancient aliens that started human civilisation.

In 1976, Story founded the original UFO Encyclopedia Project, which resulted in the classic, Encyclopedia of UFOs.

Story has also worked as an consultant on the television series "Ancient Aliens".

This book is a bit of a period piece. Most of the people who have an entry in the book don't even pop up in a Wikipedia search nowadays. Sadly the majority of the book is entries about those people - making it feel more of a "Who's who in UFO culture" than an encyclopedia of UFOs.
