The Fix-It Friends is a breath of fresh air in a world of children's books that underestimates the intelligence of their core audience. Nicole C. Kear created a fully realized world of sincere and relatable characters in her first book, and her second doesn't suffer from sophomore slump, the characters are fleshed out, the humor is riotous, and the book beautifully deals with bullying. Such a pleasure to read, especially the humor. It made me laugh out loud, much like the Junie B. Jones books used to. The topic of bullying is handled in a positive way, with compassion for everyone involved.

Fantastic books that cover a variety of topics from anxiety to teasing/bullying... I feel like they were written for my kids who struggle with worries and fears. So glad this series exists!
