This is absolutely my favorite Sierra Kincade book and that is saying a lot because I really, really loved her Body Works Trilogy. (Alec anyone??)

Two years ago Marsella Talent ran from her life and everything in it with her father’s ledger filled with information that the police and her father’s men want to get their hands on. On

Forsaken by Sierra Kincade is the first book in her new Deep Connection series. First, I can’t even tell you how excited I was when I found out Kincade was writing a new book. If you have not checked out the Body Works series by her, you need to correct that immediately. I loved every minute of those books which leads me to the fact that regardless of whether you have read those or not, you should DEFINITELY check Forsaken out.

The story focuses on the main characters of Marsella and Jake. Marsel

Sierra Kincade is back doing what she does best - writing sexy, suspenseful stories that leave you on the edge of your seat and hot under the collar.

Forsaken was dark and dangerous and, of course, incredibly sexy and romantic. How could it not be with a hero like Jake at the helm? A series of bad decisions and years of research have finally led him to a diner in the middle of nowhere where he has, at long last, found the elusive Marsella Talent, daughter of crime lord August Talent, and owner o

For a suspense romance, this book was really slow.

The last 25% of the book contained all of the action.

The epilogue was more of a final chapter, we don’t get any additional closure. Instead we get a cliffhanger.

The characters and plot were good, although the pace needed work.

I did not like Cassie and there was no chemistry between her and Jake. The first few sex scenes were SO awkward. The last couple were better but not great. There was honestly too much sexy times (since they sucked) and I j

I LOVED THIS! Amazing romance with high action and a side of bondage. Rock Chick meets Dirty Rowdy Thing.

Pretty good, smartly written with some nice prose and some very nice sexual tension going on. Romance/crime/suspense.

Sierra Kincade lives in the Midwest with her husband and son. When she’s not writing naughty books, she loves eating chocolate cupcakes, binge-watching cable series, and singing loudly in the car. She wholeheartedly believes that love stories are real, and you should never choose a partner who doesn't make you laugh.

A few of Sierra’s favorite things:
