As my classmates have pointed out, why should we trust a book on law and ethics written by a woman named Wacker Guido? Her name is comical, the book is not--it's just downright scary. It should be titled Legal & Ethical Issues in Nursing: 1,001 ways to lose your license and ruin your career FOREVER. Sometimes I think we must be crazy for signing up for a job rife with bodily fluids, risk of physical assault, and downright certainty of being sued. The nursing shortage makes more and more sense every day.

Okay, I’m officially a third the way through my Master’s. There was two books for this class and this was the better. I thought it was very useful. Probably ready for a new edition, but overall very detailed and relevant. Cheers!
