This is one of those books I was equal parts excited and terrified to read. It could go so many ways... I liked the direction it ended up taking. I couldn’t wait to read Tripp’s story. I’ve been intrigued by him for a while now. But I wasn’t that excited to read about Bethy. I’ve had mixed feelings about her. But Abbi made me love her. I love a good second chance love story and this was just that.
Leaving her changed me. The moment I climbed onto my bike and drove out of Rosemary B

Abbi Glines's work is hit or miss for me, with the misses more prevalent than the hits. That said, I always enjoy when she steps away from her popular but formulaic storytelling and offers her readers something a bit different, which is what she did with this book.

I also felt Glines handled the heartbreaking memory of Jace and his love story with Bethy tenderly while still making me happy to root for the second chance at romance happening between her and Tripp. They made for a great coup

”Our story wasn’t over. It would never be over.”

This story is told in past and present while once again I would have liked a longer book especially for the price tag. Nevertheless I enjoyed the story and fell for Trip Newark. I can’t resist his dirty mouth, patience and protectiveness over Bethy.

Bethy is coping with the tragic loss of Jace the boy who saved her life in so many ways. She’s dealing with a lot of guilt and Trip becomes the most protective/dedicated guy in Rosemary

I wasn’t sure how to feel about this one when I saw it was coming out. I was torn because I loved Tripp throughout the series and in the beginning I loved the broken girl who befriended Blair in Fallen Too Far. As the series progressed Bethy just continued to wear on me, and then with Jace’s death I was at my breaking point. However, I am a huge Abbi fan and I have to read all her books, so naturally I jumped in. To all the people who are afraid to read this one, don’t be

Tripp and Bethy were in love once… until Tripp ran away, trying to free himself for a future imposed by his parents that he knew that would never make him happy. He leaves Bethy behind without telling her anything… hoping to one day returning to her.

You Were Mine is an Abbi Glines book I was excited to read. I've noticed as an author she has the rare ability to make me like a character I've had doubts about previously. Bethy is the perfect example of this. To be honest, it's been so long since I've read the first books in these series, Bethy a
goodness, here is the lowdown we know so far: Bethy had Tripp. Tripp left Bethy, and Rosemary. Bethy had Jace. Jace died trying to save Bethy. Tripp is back in Rosemary, where Bethy is still mourning Jace, Tripps cousin... HOLY SHIT. :) bring it.

I am most looking forward to this story!!!

Every since Tripp was first introduced, I needed to know his story. Add Bethy to the picture and I was even more intrigued. What could possibly have happened between these two for them to end up where they are now and why? Thankfully, we finally get some answers.

Tripp...there's just something about a rebel that I like. He wasn't going to let his parents dictate his life for him so he went on the road, making his own way. Add a motorcycle, some tattoos and a whole lotta mystery and what more cou

This was always going to be a tricky book to write. With so many conflicting emotions about events in the series so far, I was really hesitant about going into this one. I had three main concerns:

1. I was still pissed at Bethy, and wasn’t sure I could actually like her
2. I didn’t want Jace disrespected
3. I love Tripp so much, and wanted him to have the happy ending he deserved

Well, Bravo Abbi Glines! Not only did she deliver on

I was terrified getting into this books. I hesitated because I didn't know what I'm going to think of it. Bethy was a really great character but after what happened with Jace I really disliked her. But when I read it and finished it I loved it. For those who haven't read it yet and are still afraid YOU NEED TO READ IT. You wouldn't be able to help but fall for Tripp. He is amazing.

I love the Rosemary Beach series and this book was not a let down.

All I can say is that if you are a fan of the series I recommend reading it because in addition to Tripp's and Bethy's beautiful story you get an inside on what the other characters from the series are up to.

Now let's move on to the story of Tripp and Bethy, the present and the beginning of their love, which took place 8 years ago.

Because I'm sick of paying 7 or 8 dollars for books that aren't worth that much. And because Bethy can suck it.

I'm so happy right now! I'm still in cloud 9 with this book! I was so mad because I didn't like Grant's story as much as I wanted but here I'm back loving yet another Abbi Glines book and another Rosemary beach book more specifically .

As much as all books can be read as standalone, I don't think this one is. Even if you have enough backgrounds to understand what's going, I advise everybody who wants to read this to read ALL previous book. The Rosemary Beach series is more than different stories

Dear Abbi,

Your ability to create a world of intricately interwoven characters developed in such a way that people continue to come back for more…and more…and more, is astounding. The longevity of most of your series is a direct testament to your skill as a writer. A testament to your ability to “spike” your

I still can't get over how Jace died, like seriously it just freaking tore my heart into pieces. I thought Beth & Jace would get their own book, & it would start from how they met & so on, but nope Abbi Glines decided to kill off Jace leaving me feeling torn whether to read or NOT to read this book.

I don't know how I feel about this book, it should have been Jace's book not Tripp :'(

4 Tripp is Mine Stars

I knew this will be one of those emotional book in the series. What Tripp and Bethy have was so deep. Love at young age says is never real, but they proved it wrong. Tripp run away from Rosemary Beach to save himself and his relationship with Bethy. They never had chance to settled the past and can't moved on. I like the story specially it showed past and present that will make you understand Tripp and Bethy more. I didn't like Bethy before but didn't hate her either. But th

You were mine then, you 're mine now

I'll admit that after what happened with Jace in Simple Perfection, I did not want to read this one. I was still hurt by his (view spoiler) and didn't want to see Bethy and Tripp together getting their happy ending. But I must say that I really enjoyed this book and by the end I felt that things were as they should have been. After getting the full story I was still sad but I had closure.

So, there it is. Enjoy!
