What people are saying about The 10 Smartest Decisions a Woman Can Make Before Forty Straightforward advice for the muddled By A Customer I'm well past 40 but I still have trouble making decisions and looked at this book partly to see if it would be helpful for my daughter, who also has trouble making decisions. This is straightforward advice about how (in arriving at life decisions) to sort out your gut feelings, what other people expect of you, what's practical, and what you can live with -- with a useful section on how to be your own good boss instead of your own bad boss. Coming from the publishers of the Chicken Soup books , I am surprised to find something so immensely level-headed. I'm sending my copy to my daughter.
You don't have to be under 40 to learn these lessons! By A Customer I've just started reading this book. The advice is so good and full of such common sense that my reaction has been, "Well, of course. Why didn't I think of that?!" I have no doubt that this book will be a part of the changes I am making in my life. I've got 4 1/2 years to go 'til I'm 40, and making the best decisions I can in that time will serve me well for all the rest of my years.
Very Motivating By Alana Peveto (Houston, TX) In reading this book, I have become more responsible and self assured. The exercises that Tessina has included in this book are just wonderful. I kept a pencil handy while I was reading the book and there notes everywhere! I go back through those notes from time to time to refresh myself. I have since lent my copy to several friends. I am sure it will help them too. I highly recommend this book to young women! Also, even though it is geared towards women, the ideas can apply for men also
Read this before ever even thinking of settling down!, June 1, 2006 By M. R. Estante Smart decisions have better consequences than foolish ones. A wise handbook of making time to design the life you want ... especially when you are baggage free and can extend your prime a long time.
Excellent advice; I gave it to my 30 year old daughter. By A Customer A great deal of "Mother wisdom" in one place.
Very good and easy book to read. Lots of direct suggestions and instructions. The authors have referred to quite a few different books. The book mainly teaches you to observe and notice your decisions. I liked that there are a lot of tips, exercises, instructions and also tests in the book. I read it in Estonian.
Lots of guidance and good motivational lectures to learn and start doing. I would recommend this book to anyone who feels like they're going through a rough time aging
Did more of a scan of this book, than a real deep read. A decent read in pointing out areas that young women may want to look at as they mature and encourages them to be the best they can be.
