Recommends it for: children starting to read chapter books
This is another entertaining and educational story in the Blast to the Past series by Stacia Deutsch and Rhody Cohon.

This story takes us on the trail with Merriweather and Lewis, showing how important Sacagawea's help was to the expedition.

I like that these stories combine a bit of sci-fi with historical fiction. Children can relate to the main characters in the story and learn about these famous people and historical events through their eyes.

Overall, the stories are engaging and informative

I have enjoyed this series of books so far! I want to finish reading the rest of them. These are great books to have a little bit of history into them with some action and some humor. As a teacher, I would want to use this book in the lessons that apply. I'm looking forward to using these books and would like a copy on my shelves.
