There are parts of this book that I thought were great. For instance, the middle of the book has bright, full-color images of the oils discussed that are like flashcards, but two sided and printed on regular paper. And the blends are for problems that aren't addressed in most books. For instance, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, various addictions, caregiver burnout, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel and anger management. It's also made very clear that these are not cures and that actual treatment is needed because these are support tools.

So the question is: why only two stars, Stacy? Bottom line, it's readability. The pages are a soft white and the print is a light violet. The font choice and the ink don't work well for my eyes and brain. No matter how good the info is, being able to read only small patches at a time is a problem. For others, this could very well be a non-issue, so don't let it stop you from checking out the book if it wouldn't be a problem.

Kymberly Keniston-Pond is truly a certified practitioner in aromatherapy based on seven chapters of Essential Oils 101.

I reckon it should be hailed as a must-read textbook for aspiring aromatherapists. Easy instruction to concoct essential oils, store and find simple tools for them. The best part? They are natural without harsh chemicals.

Love the photos of the herbs and we need more of them in its next edition that includes the tools and materials.

Cukup informatif meski tidak terlalu jelas. Buku ini sangat membantu mengingat saya menyerah membaca buku Tisserand yang isinya seperti sekumpulan kutipan penelitian.
