Words that are alike are grouped together and a common definition is given, but then each word gets its own explanation to help you understand the differences and how to use them (This is the best part and reason for my 5 stars). There is an example sentence for almost every word, and antonyms tagged on at the end for some words.
Look up a word as you would in a dictionary, and if a word is in another group, you will be directed to the word to look up to find its group. A brief preface explains abbreviations and how to use the book.
