I've divided this text into a Principles book, which teaches the physics, and a Practice book, which puts the physics into practice and develops problem-solving skills--Section of To the instructor (page viii)
as much as this textbook makes me want to kill myself, putting the emotions aside, it is objectively bad. it references figures from 3 chapters ago and expects you to remember them, has visuals split across pages, and generally words things in really strange ways that takes 10 years to parse through. it really seems like the author is just trying to demonstrate how much smarter he is than you, because this is not written in a way that is approachable for physics students.
