Kai mokslo metais Mader biologijas skaitai kaip grožinę literatūrą prieš miegą, tai ir įvertint gali žvaigždutėmis - kaip grožinę. O šiaip geros knygos, kas liečia mokslinius klausimus.

This text book made biology easy to understand! I was able to teach myself most chapters and needed very little lecture time. I highly recommend using the review and practice assignments to your advantage. Especially the recharge! You’ll master all your tests this way.

Everything but the Evolution was great! The Evolution from animals thing I never really did get but it would be correct for someone who believed in it. Overall a wonderful educational book.

Well written. The accompanying lab book was a disappointment. The labs were not clearly written. The class had to keep clarifying with the professor what to do next. My professor supplemented with EDVOTEK labs. Very easy to understand. Clearly written.

I am a senior at high school taking an AP Biology class and this book is the one we use as our main textbook in class. I'd like to say that this book helped me further my exploration of Biology but that was not the case. I went into this class excited and confident that I would pass but this book left me more confused than I was before and kind of drained me of my self-confidence of going into the medical field. There are just too many in-depth details in this book that are completely unnecessary and the problems they give for you to study off of tend to give you the wrong answers when you check in the back of the book. Right now, I've been using the help of other textbooks to help me pass this class since their content is much easier to understand than this book.

Excellent text for introductory Biology class on the college level. Cellular aspects, the part I'm teaching right now, contain just enough depth to be intriguing without being overwhelming for college students.

I would like to CRY.

I am not yet finished with this book. I have cried more over this book than I have on The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, or any other book for that matter. If you're looking for a book to cry over, this is the one :D

Great for body systems and cells, but bad with genetics and plants. Easy to read.
