Violet sees Malachi going nose to nose with her brother Rowdy. She can't help but be attracted to him. Her brother is so overprotective of her and she knows any attraction between her and Malachi will never work. However, Malachi doesn't like the word NO!

This book definitely kept me engaged, especially after that appetizing and piping, hot bathroom scene!
At twenty-one, Violet was under her brother's thumb and he kept a careful watch over her. The one person she was warned away from turned out to be the one person she could let her inhibitions go with.
Malachi was raunchy, conceited, and foul-mouthed. Besides being well-endowed and in physically good shape, there wasn't much to his character, but he was very amusing. I wasn't expecting much substance or depth in this story, but there was plenty of entertainment and one very quick action scene. This is a quickie read with fun characters. En-joyed!

This is the fifth book in the Taboo Shorts series. Malachi is an MMA fighter whose been with a lot of women, never the same one twice until he sees Violet at the gym with another fighter named Rowdy. He's instantly attracted to Violet and soon finds out she is Rowdy's little sister and told she's off limits. Malachi isn't going to let that stop him from taking what he wants.

Okay, a warning here! If you don't like raunchy, dirty , filthy, consensual sex, this is NOT the book for you! Right from the start Malachi has it bad for Violet. Even after he finds out that it's his best friends sister, he still had really nasty thoughts about what he wants to do to her. Violet may act like she's not interested but deep down inside, she is a dirty girl! She gives as good as she gets. Loved the story. It was short, hot and oh so sexy!! If you like dirty sex, get this book and have some ice water handy!! You'll need it!!

Too short and the H and h become intimate immediately which made no sense. The H sees the h, follows her into the bathroom, tells her "let's have sex", and the h allows him to penetrate her w/out protection. It was so random and frankly disgusting.

¿En serio?
Yo se que no puedo esperar leer un romance al estilo "Orgullo y prejuicio" en este tipos de libros, pero al menos las autoras podrían haber puesto un poquito de esfuerzo en no hacerlo parecer tan desagradable.
En primer lugar las escenas sexuales eran un asco, graciosas e irreales. Me da la sensación de que las autoras pusieron una porno y escribieron exactamente lo que veían. O que su vida sexual es nula y que escriben "imaginando" como es el buen sexo. Porque realmente no tienen idea como es un buen polvo.
El protagonista... sin comentarios...
dejaré algunos de sus pensamientos y palabras para que se hagan una idea:
'Women were there to be enjoyed, fucked, and not much else.'

Too many mistakes!
I might've only paid $1.06 for this book, but I still expect better writing and less mistakes!
The Amazon description stated 58 pages; I think, by my count, 17 mistakes is way too many! They range from misspelled words to incorrect placement of words to some major content issues. Here are a few examples: 1. She states his name in inner monologue before they appear to exchange names in conversation. 2. She stated she had only had sex one other time; she went on to be with male character basically 1 1/2 times. After their 2nd time together, she's teasing him with anal. 3. There was no mention of panties coming off, but suddenly he's shoving inside of her. 4. She specifically says to him about the bathroom door being unlocked, a few pages later she's walking over to unlock the door. My understanding was that it wasn't locked. 5. He asked why she hadn't called him; I wasn't aware that they had exchanged numbers.
I really wish these two authors would pull together better books!

This is the first book I read by these two authors combined. I'm a huge fan of smutty quick reads and this one was that. Sadly, it didn't do it for me. There's inconsistencies throughout and a few errors. I tried to overlook them but they stuck with me. I know going into a quick read that I don't expect to get every detail of these characters and that time sometimes jumps forward, but this one started saying he's watched her for a year. It didn't feel like that. Other areas were sex scenes, this is where I was stumped. How can his balls be slapping off her ass if he's hitting it from behind? It would be her clit, right? And at the end of one chapter she's on her hands and knees, the beginning of the next he tells her to get on them. It almost seemed as if one author wrote one chapter and the other wrote the next. It was an okay read. Was it worth the 99¢? Sure, if you can over look these parts. I will try their combined efforts again.

I really enjoyed this quick and steamy read. I like how Malachi goes from arrogant playboy to reformed loving boyfriend. I LOVE that Violet isn’t a pushover. And the fact that she let Rowdy & Malachi stew in jail was awesome. Plus the fact that Rowdy is overprotective of his baby sister! The little excerpt of his book makes me want to read it now!

Malachi e Rowdy são amigos num clube de luta; e o que acontece quando seu amigo tem tesão pela sua irmã? E sim, tesão é a palavra certa.
Com uma combinação de instalove e química louca dos mais bizarros, é montada esse plot. Mesmo sendo assim eu gostei. Malachi é um cara arrogante e o deus das mulheres, porém o amor nunca foi sua coisa, mas ver a linda Violet no clube de luta com o irmão dela mudou a corrente. E para Violet o fluxo é o mesmo, mas ela não é tão fácil assim.
Gostei das atitudes da protagonista e as consequências que levam até o final feliz. Adorei. Mas eu fiquei esperando que a amizade de Malachi e Rowdy fosse mais forte e que rolasse um desentendimento maior entre eles. Até rolar um street fighter ia ficar legal kkkkkk

Hot, hot, hot!!!
I just love a female lead that's strong and of course capable of handling her s*#t. Malachi was beyond cocky but Violet was perfect for him! The only complaint I have about this book is that it seemed rushed in the end. I hope Rowdy's story has a little more stuffing in the middle if you know what I mean. I'm not disappointed that I bought this book!

Cute & Steamy
I really enjoy this set of short, Insta-love books by Jenika Snow & Sam Crescent. The storyline is well thought out and fully expressed in each short, which is sometimes hard to do. The steam in them could cause a kindle malfunction, which I like! I can't forget to mention how much I love

This was an enjoyable read I loved MALACHI he won me over and violet she mad me laugh.
When Malachi went up against her brother was perfect and when they sat in jail I loved that violet had the upper hand.
One I recommend 4 stars.
