Have you ever wondered what it would be like to share your home with an unearthly spirit who can’t find closure? Living on the edge of a cemetery with souls dating back to the 1700s would be enough to spook anyone, but Naomi finds it oddly romantic, and becomes inspired to write her next novel. Why not, when her muse, Maggie, calls to her from beyond her own window?

Naomi just moved and bought a house to start over after ending a relationship with a verbally abusive and somewhat unstable ex-boyfriend. One catch...Maggie's beautiful new home is on the edge of a cemetery with graves dating as far back as the 1700's. From the start, there is paranormal activity in her home. She is not so much as frightened, but intrigued. As a writer, she is always looking for her next story.

Well she finds one in Maggie. She is drawn to Maggie's grave by none other than her ca

Thank you Double Decker Books for the reviewing opportunity!

Ghosts are never my thing, watched a chapter of The Conjuring and I slept with my lights on for the entire week!

So I normally avoid books with ghosts, but somehow Maggie intriguing blurb reeled me in into the world of mystery and paranormal romance. Yeah sure living near the cemetery creeps me out, but I wish I would have a Maggie of my own!

I love everything about the book, I like how the book did not put much focus onto the romance a

The story of Maggie is very heart touching. Naomi moves into an old house with a cemetery at the rear of the house. From the moment this story starts Naomi has a weird feeling from this house but she couldn't put her finger on it.

Naomi went on a double date with her friend but her date was boring and not Naomi's cup of tea. Naomi ended up at the bar ordering drinks where she met tall, dark and handsome Ryan.

Naomi and Ryan become inseparable and the weird goings on in Naomi's house escalate.

Maggie by Mya O’Malley is a paranormal romance, with a mystery/suspense threaded through it. It is a touching, heart-warming, oh so gripping and hauntingly good, 5 Star read.
Naomi is a writer and has bought a beautiful old home that she fell in love with- in hope of beginning a new chapter in her life. She has quite unusual neighbours- in the form of the cemetery that back onto her property- and all the souls contained within it. Now, living in such close proximity to a cemetery would no

WOW!!! This book is so much more than a typical story. It's a story within a story that is being written as we watch it unfold. Ok, that's not exactly right, but the MC is a "struggling writer" who discovers a gift when she moves to a new house and begins to write a book. I don't want to give anything away so can't really explain any further.

As this is the first book I've read by this author - I'm not sure how this can be a trilogy but I am absolutely going to read the rest to see how it all pla

4 Stars ****

Maggie is a paranormal story full of love, anger and more importantly ghosts. It is a heartfelt story following Naomi the main character who is a writer and a stubborn one at that. She is very strong willed and does not allow anything to stop her putting pen to paper.
Naomi moves into a fabulous and interesting new home that backs onto a cemetery. Strange things occur in the house which spooks Naomi’s cat Zelda (as a fan of the game I LOVED the cats name!). As t

Maggie was a great and thrilling 5 star read.

Where to start with this review? I was pulled right in from the beginning. Naomi is a writer who has just recently moved into a home that is right next to a cemetery.

Naomi finds herself drawn to the grave of a young woman named Maggie. She also has a spirit in her home that she suspects may be Maggie, her cat Zelda seems to have a connection with the spirit. She starts to use Maggie as her muse for her next book. She discovers that Maggie died in a wa

Maggie by Mya O’Malley is a thrilling supernatural love story. I was immediately drawn into the plot of this five star read. It reminded me of the seventies movie Ghost Story featuring Alice Krige. Hats off to the author for bringing alive the need for those who have passed on to find closure.

Naomi is a writer who has just moved into an old house built in the 1700s. Behind the house is a cemetery that crosses her property lines slightly. Naomi has just ended a relationship with Nick. She is look

Maggie is the first book in the Maggie Trilogy by Mya O’Malley. It is a very well written paranormal romance. This is the first time I have read any work by this author so was unsure what to expect from this book. I have to say that I was hooked from the very first page and did not want to put this book down. Damn real life for getting in the way and making me go to work wondering what was going to happen next.

What do you do when you break things off with a jealous possessive and verbally abusive ex? You let your best friend set you up on multiple really really bad blind dates. So that is what Naomi did after her split with her boyfriend Nick. Amy sure knew how to pick them and this date was no exception. She escaped and ended up at the bar where she sat next to Ryan, mister tall, dark and handsome. They hit it off over a glass of wine and ended up deciding to meet for dinner
Maggie (Maggie Trilogy #1) by Mya O'Malley was a surprisingly fun and very entertaining, thrilling read.

My first read by this author I went in with a open mind and ready to read a gritty tale of trying to coexist with a ghost. This was much more then that. It's a tale of finding the truth, opening up and believing that not everything is what it seems. This book at times had me on the edge of my seat, and at times held my heart in a vice. Beautifully written I could not put this book down.

Maggie by Mya O’Malley is the first book in her new trilogy and what a fantastic kick off. Naomi is a writer that attempts to stay open to everything around her, and looks at everything with her writer’s eye, full of curiousity and creativity. Meeting Ryan, she is immediately swept up in him. He is handsome, full of charisma and the perfect boyfriend. But then there is Bryce, the single dad who wants to help her grow and protect her any way that she might need. Nothing like confusing a girl’s lo ...more
Naomi fell in love with her little house that was built centuries ago, with a backdrop of a cemetery in her backyard. She was drawn to it for many reasons, even some she3 doesn’t recognize. Her life has been a bit chaotic and she finds herself suddenly wrapped up in one crazy mishap after another while trying to navigate her social life. Much to her dismay, her friend Amy convinces her to go on blind double dates over and over, trying to help her to overcome the aftermath of a disastrous relatio ...more

Maggie by Mya O’Malley is the first book by the author that I have read. The story pulls you slowly in from the first chapter on. It does not start at all like your everyday ghost story so you relax and go with the flow rolling your eyes when Naomi goes to another awful blind date and deals with a horrible and abusive ex.
At the same time, you can feel something creeping in from the side with the objects moving on their own and shadows blinking in and out. I love how Naomi has such an open mind a

I give Maggie (Maggie Trilogy Book 1) by Mya O'Malley, 5 stars.

Naomi has found her dream home, an old, small, little place she is happy to call hers. After what she had to go through with ex-boyfriend, she needs the quiet and solitude for comfort and to write her next book. What she doesn't expect though, is that she shares the house with a spirit. This does not scare her, but leads her on a journey she has never expected. What happened to this woman? Can she help the ghost find peace?

Maggie is the first book in Mya O’Malley’s Maggie Trilogy. It’s a thrilling ghost story with plenty of mystery and suspense.
Our heroine, Naomi, finally overcomes her writer’s block when a ghost from the cemetery that backs onto her garden starts haunting her. Determined to tell Maggie’s story, Naomi is torn between creating a fictional version of events and uncovering the truth. With spooky dreams giving Naomi and the reader glimpses into Maggie’s fate as the book progresses, we are drawn into h

Maggie (Maggie Trilogy Book 1) by Mya O’Malley. This is a creepy mystery that I loved! Its the story of Naomi who has moved into a house on the edge of an old cemetery. Most people would be scared but not Naomi she thinks its romantic. From the very beginning she believes her house is haunted and it makes her want to start her novel. She is led to a grave of a woman named Maggie by her cat Zelda. Deciding that her next novel will be about Maggie she starts to dig into the background of her death ...more

I couldn't put this book down once I started reading. There were twists and turns, and as soon as you thought you knew what was going on there was a twist, it kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. It was interesting and entertaining to see how Zelda (the cat) reacted to Maggie. Naomi was very open minded to the ghost in her house. Although Naomi could be very naive at times she did have a big heart and truly wanted to help. Even though Naomi ju

This book had be gripping the edge of my kindle with white knuckles and my heart was pounding. Let me preface this by saying that this is not my normal genre of books. Mysteries and thrillers always seem to get my heart racing, however, this one had more of a paranormal spin with a dash of romance.

Where to start?

I had great expectations for this novel. From the reviews to the ratings, I was sure it would be amazing! Unfortunately, the book was disappointing.

You know, there is young adults books and there is this. I might not have been the target market. I would qualify this book great for anyone between 13-15 years old. It is light, not scary and cliché romance. Every other page, a man will run his hand through his hair (it seems to be a really strong habit among men! ). The main characte

Maggie by Mya O’Malley is an eerie romance, mystery that will have you glued to the edge of your seat. Maggie by Mya O’Malley is the first book in her Maggie trilogy. This book is sure to have to guessing right to the end.
Naomi loves living next to a cemetery. It gives her all sorts of inspiration for her writing. Especially given that she is sharing her house with Maggie, a ghost.
Helping her solve her murder is perfect for her writing, even if it is a little mad at times.
To make her life even more complicated Naomi finds herself between two men, Ryan and Bryce. Not sure who she likes more or if

Naomi just moved in to what should be her dream writing home! An old house sitting on the edge of a cemetery with graves dating back to the 1700s. It’s definitely a paranormal writers dream! Naomi decides Maggie’s story is the next thing she’s going to write and finds herself in serious danger as she digs deeper into her investigation.

Maggie by Mya O’Malley is book one of the Maggie Trilogy. This book is not like many of the other books I’ve read. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but I really enjoyed it!

Naomi is a very imaginative writer and tries to stay open to her surroundings and uses it as inspiration for her novels. Maggie has been a huge inspiration for Naomi and there is sure a mystery to solve. While Naomi tries to solve Maggie’s mystery, she also has her hands full when she meets Ryan and then Bryce.

Maggie by Mya O'Malley is amazingly well written. I absolutely love ghost stories and this one has everything i could ask for. Naomi is a writer and living next to a cemetery gives her lots of writing material. Especially when Maggie starts visiting not only Naomi's home, but dreams as well. So the mystery of Maggie begins. If that wasn't enough, throw in two new love interests and an ex-boyfriend and you have a book you can't put down.
