Maybe that old song got it right.

Maybe love can be better the second time around.

When one of my wingmen needs help, I'll do anything for him, including calling in a favor with the one person I swore I'd never speak to again.

Not after I walked away from that life five years ago and ditched the trappings of my success.

Ok, so I'm going to be a total girl here and say that the best thing about this entire book was, hot silver fox, Dan. Yes, the plot and writing style were amazing, I mean this is a Daisy Prescott book after all, and all the secondary characters were funny and engaging. But Dan!!!! Oh My God, Dan!!!!!!

Listen to this; he's a millionaire but doesn't live like one, totally humble, down to earth gu

This was my first time reading Daisy Prescott and I can absolutely say it won't be the last. I love a second-chance romance and here we have a couple who are that little bit older, have been-there-done-that and are all the wiser for it.

Better Love is simply a wonderful story of soulmates; Dan and Roslyn parted years previously but their rekindled love is filled with fun, honesty and passion. Told from Dan's POV, I loved just how relatable

Funny, sexy, charming, and absolutely adorable!! Daisy Prescott is synonymous with romance with heart that has a splash of humor thrown into the mix. In her latest installment to the Wingmen Series, Daisy has turned up the heat and romance factor several degrees when she introduces readers to Dan Ashland, who happens to be one gorgeous silver fox.

Is love better the second time around? The first time Roslyn and Dan were together in a relationship the timing was a bit off. They loved each other, had fun together and could probably see a future together. However, when it came to their busy careers and city living lifestyles, they didn't see eye to eye. They both want different things and in the end Dan decides to leave the hustle and bustle and move to Whidbey Island.

Dan loves the slow paced life of

My initial reaction in one long run-on sentence:

It was FANFRICKINGTASTIC, it was everything I wanted it to be. It’s romance with a guy MY AGE and he was sexy and having all the sexy sex with Roslyn who was awesome as well and there was no crazy drama or twentysomething inner monologue and OHMYGOD.

I didn't think it was possible for Daisy to write a better hero than Gil Morrow or John Day. I was wrong. Holy pizza! Dan is like Gil and John put together with magic sprinkles added. He's had a lot of time to think about what his life should be, and he is finally ready to go for it. He says the loveliest things. Sigh.
Roslyn is pretty great, too. She takes some big risks in this story, but she is strong enough to handle them. And to handle Dan -- in more ways than one.

Dan is now known as the "Pizza Man," the semi-reclusive owner of Whidbey Island's best pizza place. However, once upon a time he was the head of a corporate empire devoted to bread. Back in those days, he dated his PR specialist, Roslyn, and probably would have married her if their paths hadn't gone in different directions. At some point, he realized that the corporate world and all his money were doing things to him that he didn't like, so he gave it all up (except his Porsche, and more than en ...more

Better Love is Daisy Prescott’s fourth story in her Wingmen series, and the first of hers that I’ve read. She already has ten plus stories under her belt, now on my TBR . If this story is any indication of the enjoyment I’ll get reading her romances, then I regret not picking them up sooner! With a witty and humorous style, this story just goes to show you that sometimes the second time around is even better than the first.

THIS WAS TOTALLY FROM DAN'S POINT OF VIEW!!!! In case you didn't know, I LOVE books written from the guy's view. There's just something about getting into their head and seeing what makes them tick that I love. So right off, that worked for me :)

Second amazing point about this...Dan is 43. Roslyn is like 36-37. As a woman in her mid40s, it's wonderful to read about people closer to my age that aren't trying to impress everyone they meet or finish college or find a job after graduating. Do I love

This was my first Daisy Prescott novel. I know, I know. You're probably gasping and looking at me like I am crazy. But yes, it was my first. I really really enjoyed this quick read.

I swooned. I smiled. I truly enjoyed this second chance romance. Two grown ups falling in love, flaws and all.
my favorite part might be that they don't just accept who they were as who they want to be, they both strive to be better and healthier.

Daisy Prescott writes the male POV beautifully. Her Wingmen series shows again and again how she can get inside her characters heads and create thoughts and dialog that is so very realistic and plausible.

Dan Ashland has created a life that most men would kill to have. He owns a successful small business that allows him the freedom and flexibility to enjoy his favorite personal pursuits. He has a core group of close and devoted friends that have taken him into their fold when he decided that was

OMG DAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3

Dan Asland lives a quiet and content life. He gave up his materialistic life in order for a serene one. Bu along with that he had to give up the love of his life. It hurt his being but he tried moving on. Now, she is back in his life and Dan has resolved to give their love a well deserved second chance.

I cannot describe how fricking AMAZING Dan Ashland is. He is the perfect combination of sweet, sexy and loving. I adored the way he loved Roslyn. The maturity with which

I always love returning to Whidbey Island and this cast of characters. I admit that I went into this not being sure of what to expect out of Dan the Pizza Man, but I was surprised by exactly how intelligent, funny, and swoony that he was. One of the things that I really connected to with Dan was his need to be alone at times to rejuvenate. Introverts unite (nama-stay-away from me is my new motto)! That and his poets soul was pretty much key to loving him. This book was a second chance romance, w ...more

Dan sure isn't bashful, the man just says what's on his mind, “can we take this inside? Before I eff you against this wall and your neighbors get a show through their peepholes?” I loved the relationship Dan had with his stray-sort-of-his cat, “you stay here,” I told the cat. Like most women I knew, she didn’t listen and instead followed behind me." I really loved this book, I loved Dan he was caring and sweet.

No Man is an Island....He Needs His Lady Love

Better Love, Daisy Prescott's fourth installment in her Wingman series, is a touching, humorous and extraordinary character-rich, second chance romance. I say extraordinary because Ms. Prescott takes ordinary and realistic characters and gives the reader such great life messages: friends are the family you choose and the simple, yet special things in life matter - it's good to slow down and enjoy it every once in a while.

BETTER LOVE written by the always impressive Daisy Prescott, is a book that is refreshing, rewarding and oh so romantic!

Daniel Ashland is a deep man, who truly enjoys a pure, simple life surrounded by the beautiful nature of Whidbey Island, Sal's, one of the island's small pizza shops that he proudly owns, many friends and the relief he claimed when he left the corporate world behind. Dan also left behind Roslyn Porter, a big wig in Seattle and a PR genius. Dan and Ros had big potential as a pow

Daisy Prescott has written her best yet. Better Love is utterly romantic, wildly witty and features one of the best second-chance love stories I’ve ever read. To be able to watch as Dan Ashland rekindle what he threw away all those years ago with Roslyn Porter was nothing less than glorious.

The fourth book in the Wingmen series, Better Love, is all about second chances both in life and of course in love. Fans of the series will be very familiar with our main character, its Dan the Pizza man, who may or may not be part of the Pizza Mafia (according to everyone's favorite Tom). Readers will finally be getting into Dan's past and its all out as romantic as one can get.

I've read all of Daisy Prescott's books and Better Love has to be one of my favorites. It's a second chance love story about Dan and Roslyn. The story is told from Dan's POV and you can't help but like him. He's smart, romantic, and driven to getting back the girl he let get away. The story had some smart humor and plenty of romance. I enjoyed this one and found it hard to put down.

When we met Dan the pizza man and Ros the PR shark in Erik's book I was dying for the backstory. In this book we get the EVERYTHING! This is the best second chance romance I've read in a long time. This is the story of Dan and Roslyn, and their second chance at love. Daniel Ashland is Whidbey Island’s resident Pizza Man. Dan is 43, a bachelor, a humble millionaire, and the owner of Sal’s Pizza. He has silver in his hair, and rides a skateboard. Roslyn Porter is the one that got away.

Dan was a successful entrepreneur who ended up selling his bread company (I think – I know it had something to do with bread – wasn’t ever completely clear) for a lot (a lot a lot) of money. One day something c

Grownmance. It’s a term that I have used to describe many of Daisy Prescott’s books and her ability to create a pitch-perfect love story between her characters who just happen to be slightly more seasoned. They are swoony, funny stories that never fail to steal your heart and make you wish that you could live inside them.

Look, people. I don't say this lightly.

Dan the Pizza Man may become my book husband.

Book husband, you ask? I'll tell you.

There are book boyfriends aplenty, but only one can rule them all (kind of like the One Ring, but sexier and not hellbent on reaching its master and ending all good things in this world)--the book husband. For me, this person is a delightful man named Gil (the hero of Daisy's book "Geoducks are for Lovers") and as far as I was concerned, there was literally nothing to knock

I really loved Dan’s character. I like that he was successful but it taught him about what was really important in life. He’s charitable, caring, and down to earth. He doesn’t suffer stupidity and bullshit.
