According to me a Prologue or the 1st Chapter of a book is THE reflection - SO it must capture my attention from page 1 I will continue a few more chapters to give the Book a fair chance to change my mind!

A quick and easy read. This is a charming contemporary romance set in Australia (love that!) between a city girl and an Australian country boy/rancher/farmer. Both were extremely likeable and the story believable. If you're a fan of contemporary westerns, give this one a try.

I received this book via the publisher from NetGalley. This in no way affects my opinion of the book.

I have recently found Down Under cowboys. I especially like the City folks who try to go Country. This is the first time I read one of Jacquie's books. She gave us a very different story line. I never thought I would see a Reality Cowboy show. Wil is pestered by his brother Alex to get on this Cowboy Reality show. He is still down from his ex-wife dumping him years ago. Spoiler. Emily is a Realty Seller that does nothing but sell property. Spoiler. Her best friend Xanthia sent in, without her kn ...more

Really good fun. I loved the scenes where Emily got introduced to country life - particularly the early scenes where she forgoes fun with the sheep and ends up in the pig sty.
Wil is adorable!
It's a lot of light-hearted fun with the concept of reality TV and reality shows. The #CatchMeACowboy tweets at the end made me laugh, and the story really picks up in the hot factor once Wil and Em start fooling around when the cameras aren't on.

Josie's Review

This is my first time reading a book by this author, and I am so glad I took a chance. Catch Me a Cowboy was a quick, entertaining and sweet read. I loved how the author gaves us some of the main characters lives before we get to the reality show part of this unique story. I say unique because this is a novel told as a reality show. This was so different from The Bachelor where I knew it was not all real, I expected fiction but what I felt while reading was reality. There were some

I was hooked from the very beginning. Great easy read with a hot cowboy and a gorgeous city chick. Definitely worth a read.

This was a "behind the scenes" of The Bachelor set in Australia. Emily and Will are both career-minded professionals (Emily in real estate and Will as a farmer/rancher), who have yet to find true love the traditional way. At the encouragement (trickery) of their friends and family, both decide to go on the popular dating drama Catch Me A Cowboy.

Emily is a luxury real estate agent at the pinnacle of her career. While sweet and simultaneously sultry, she has yet to hit the jackpot in her love life

This charming romance captures your heart from the first page and takes you on a wonderful journey of fulfillment for the characters. This is the first book by Ms Underdown I've read and I must say I truly enjoy her style and the characters she has created here...even the secondary ones.

The story is situated in Melbourne (and the surrounding countryside), meaning I was unfamiliar with some of the terminology and of course, weights and measures, not to mention the spelling of certain words, whic

Wil Parker has already been burnt by love once. His ex wife has run off with an urban cowboy who wrangled managed funds and Mercedes SUV's amongst other things. Now he has been accepted as the cowboy on a new Australian TV Season of 'Catch Me A Cowboy'.

Emily Wolfe is a successful high end Melbourne Real Estate agent but after ending up in hospital after a major panic attack, she realises all has to come back to each night is a cold, sterile (admittedly stylish) flat and her cat Fifi. Is this rea

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

What a quick and easy read, I knew it had to do with a cowboy but was pleasantly surprised when it was an Australian cowboy.

Emily Wolfe is a real estate to the elite who is tired of going through the same old dates with the same results, she then competes in a reality TV show for the heart of the cowboy. Will Parker is a sexy, rugged farmer whose heart has been broken before.

The characters were extremely likeable, Emily made me l

This was a quick, easy, sweet, read that involved a hot cowboy, a farm, horses, women, city women, and a real estate broker that needed to let go of lots of things. Emily has her moments for me. Some were a bit more challenging than others. She needs a break and what she gets is a challenge. What would you do with out friends and family pushing you to do things? Emily finds out what she will do and then some. Wil finds that he would do things not conceived by his imagination.

I had fun with this

Even though I'm not a big fan of reality dating shows, I really enjoyed this book. Emily is a high-powered real estate agent in the city where she has been unable to find someone who will love her. Her friend submits her application to a new reality dating show on a ranch where she is accepted as a contestant. Wil is immediately smitten by her, but she isn't sure if she can make a relationship in the country work. I would recommend this romantic read.

Wil had me melt. he was honest, hard working, kind, considerate and caring. He didn’t want to hurt any of the girls and felt bad each time he did. From the moment he saw Emily he knew. He knew she was what he wanted and that he was in love. He was attentive and respectful to all the women on the show but with Emily you saw the sparks. Even after his ex did what she did he kept believing there would be someone for him. He was swoony especially with some of his dates and how he was with family…

Are you a fan of reality shows like The Bachelor? Then you’re going to enjoy Catch Me A Cowboy.

Neither Emily or Wil had actually tried out for this reality show, others had put in their applications for them… but the result is Wil being the man in the middle of some pretty intense, beautiful women And Emily taking a break from her stress filled passion as a successful real estate agent. She’s a city girl through and through. He’s a country boy with no intention of mo

I've never watched a full episode of a reality dating show. They don't interest me. I don't know. Seemed like a lot cattiness, backstabbing, lying, itching for a fight nonsense. Good entertainment, of that I have no doubt, and I'm sure the contestants did find true love. But, well, it wasn't for me.

So I wasn't sure I'd like this story. Television's one thing. Reading about it? That's a whole different ballgame. For one, I didn't have the distraction of commercials. Damn things are so annoying! I

Emily Wolfe is sick of the game of life and she is sick of these guys who are looking for just one thing. She needs, wants, and is ready for a real man in her life, her career is perfect and she is ready to have everything. This was a strange book for me personally. I’m not a fan of the dating shows on TV, but I was hoping that since it was in a book form I’d like it more. And I was surprised that I did enjoy it a fair bit.

I thought the characters were well written and explained. Even all of the secondary characters (the other women) were all described in a way that it was easy for me to tell them apart. So I give major kudos to the authors for that. With how many characters there were it could have gotten very ugl

Emily Wolfe is a real estate agent to an elite group of customers. She has a panic attack and her friend advises her to slow down and take a vacation. Her friend wants her to try out for a tv reality show called Catch me a Cowboy. Emily thinks its silly but her friend sends her application in anyway. She is picked as one of the contestants in the running for the hunky cowboy. She is tired of being alone and is looking for love so she agrees. I was pretty sure I would like Catch Me a Cowboy when I read the blurb, but I had no idea how much I would love it.
First of all, I live in Australia so I was very pleased when I realized that Wil was an Australian cowboy. I’m a fan of The Bachelor so that was another tick. But this was so much more. I was able to know what Wil and Emily were thinking. I like getting inside characters’ heads so I love dual points of view in a book. Because of this, I became invested in the main characters. I want

Such a fun and flirty read that's jam packed with laughter, tears and love all in equal measure. Emily's a firecracker of a leading lady, layered with both hope and fear all at once, while Wil fights for what he wants no matter the consequences; the hero we all dream of. Love, love, loved this book!!
