If it’s written by C.S. Johnson, I already know I’m going to love it. The Moonlight Pegasus is no exception! I absolutely love fantasy, and this story took me on a real adventure through beauty and darkness.

The world-building is tremendously brilliant. I felt like I was drawn into the story and I couldn’t put the book down. The characters felt realistic. Each one had a place in this story, and that is one of the things C.S. Johnson does so well. I absolutely love the detail she provides as it ma

Wow ... This book was a first for me the length of the chapters and getting to understand the story behind what was going, hence the reason it took me so long to read this book, I did struggle with it in the beginning but afterwards it sort of made sense and got really interesting ..

Wow, what a book.

If you like C. S. Lewis Narnia books and his space trilogy books, you will like this story. But there are no talking beavers and no lion, but a pegasus.

I enjoyed this book and how the characters develop in the story.
It was also very interesting how C.S. Johnson use a well know story from the Bible to make up this story, but still making it her own.

In all darkness there is light. In life we face setbacks or trails and it is our duty to get through them the best we can. This story show the difference between right (light) and wrong (evil - darkness). This book took me on an amazing fantasy journey and I enjoyed the development of the characters b

The Moonlight Pegasus is a story with many faces. Its a story about love, faith, good and evil, war and family. Rightfully so, it also is quite lengthy but surprisingly also manages to keep a pretty good pacing right from the start. The world itself is set on a planet called Sapphira and revolves around kingdoms and the islands surrounding it. There would seem to be a presence of religion in terms of resurrection and faith and belief disguised in a higher entity called The Guardian that watches ...more

The Moonlight Pegasus is a sweet fantasy tale. The author C.S. Johnson weaves a story of intrigue, true love, and the power of dreams in this enchanting tome.

The Moonlight Pegasus is a delightful story that can stand the test of time. The setting is gorgeous with the gray sunlight and the lush gardens of Diamond City. With the Palace sitting on the Table high above the city atop a magnificent waterfall. My senses were tingling just thinking of the landscape.

I've been so hooked even when tired I don't want to stop reading. It's different than other Fantasy stories I read and love it. This book shows you even the most beautiful world can even harbor darkness and show how it bring it to light. A beautiful and well told story. This book is truly "Enchanting" If you want to get lost into a book that takes you to another world this is the book for you. I highly recommend this ...more

Great story

Great story of hope and renewal. Well crafted characters and interesting world. Nice change of pace from all powerful magic welders to those of no powers at all.

CJ has written a delightful story about a princess full of light and love and laughter. Raised by her kind brother, the king, after the death of her parents, Celine knew it would be her duty to marry for the good of the kingdom. A prophecy at her birth foretold this, saying that when she married, the lands would be at peace. That peace however was threatened when an islander seeking revenge for past wrongs threatens to take the kingdom by force, if not allowed to marry the princess. Would this u ...more

The Moonlight Pegasus wasn't an easy story for me to get into, but once I did I didn't want to stop. Etoleon and Selene have a very complicated relationship, and the distain that her brother, Dorian, feels for Etoleon doesn't help anything, especially since Dorian is the king of Sapphira.

I did have trouble with the timing of the story. There are very modern ways of travel, even futuristic, phones, tablets, etc... yet it had a medieval feel to the story. War was waged by "knights" in armor yet t

This reads as though it were written for a middle grade reading level, but with heavier themes than you would normally see in middle grade books. It's clunky and very heavy handed, with a lot of tell me and almost no show me. Boring at best. ...more

I was given a free ebook copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

For me this book was one of those slow paced books, I had noticed others gave it a full 5 but I cannot do it with good conscious. This book had a lot of promise, I just feel it was a draft of what could of have been an amazing book. I will give that the story line is pretty unique but I just could not get into it. The characters seemed flat, and not three dimensional. I feel the word play wasn’t there and that the story
