Tim has a secret. A secret, naughty fantasy that he’s never told anyone because it’s one that most people wouldn’t understand. However, when his sexy neighbor accidentally learns his deepest fantasy he won’t be able to hide from his desire any longer. 38k words Story Contains: M/m sexual content, age play, diapers, and ABDL themes
Cade and Tim discovered their kink together while creating a Daddy/little relationship. Cade was not a Daddy Dom but he did have to compensate for Tim's shyness. The story was cute and adorable.
Eh. This is not very good. For some reason I thought that this was going to be an elaborately detailed series multiple hundreds of pages etc, but it's actually like 130 pages and they were short stories I guess they were published separately originally. So basically the complete series is barely a novella. It's also just odd and I don't mean that in terms of the age play I mean that in terms of the relationship in general and how it comes to pass and also the lack of any sort of development.
Basically there's two guys who are neighbors and they have a really thin walls and so when one of the guys starts giving himself pep talks to like work up the courage to try diapers and ABDL, his neighbor hears him across the wall and just decides that he wants to be a Daddy now. Sexual age play is not my favorite thing and that's pretty much all this book is. I do generally enjoy each age play but this was just not very well done. Nothing is really discussed very well and these guys are strangers basically. Any sort of their non-sexual conversations are jumped over and talked about after the fact and nothing happens in the moment. It is not one that I would read again and not one that I would recommend.
Really enjoyed this mini series of Tim and Cade. Tim seems so shy and to finally have the support he needs to be able to live the lifestyle it must be amazing.
The blurb is rather short, but then again, so is this book, even if it's technically four books. Honestly, I love A.M. Innes' books, but I wish they were twice as long. This one runs at 38k words, which is about half of a normal sized novel. That means it’s technically a novella.
His Little Man is the story of Tim, who has discovered he's really into age play—meaning he wants to play with diapers, binkies, and whatnot. His sexy neighbor Cade accidentally overhears, and turns out to be willing to help Tim with this. Tim gradually builds confidence and achieves his goals, one step at a time, with Cade’s help.
If you can get over the somewhat unlikely premise of apartment walls being so thin you can literally hear your neighbor talk to himself, you’re in for a sweet, slightly kinky read. What keeps amazing me about this author, is that the books are all about a certain kink (other titles have been about puppy play for instance), yet are slow burn and sweet at the same time. These are definitely not erotic reads despite the topic, as the actual level of sexiness as I often refer to it is low.
Instead, these books focus on the relationship, though that aspect was a little less developed in His Little Man than in Flawed Perfection, for instance. No wonder, since it’s hard to develop both the kink and the relationship in a novella. What missed for me was Cade’s character. We get to know Tim much better than Cade, who remains a bit two-dimensional.
On the other side, Tim felt a bit cliché, even if his character was more developed. If you read multiple books by the same author in a row, you tend to notice similarities between characters more, and Tim was a mix of Nathan from Flawed Perfection and Bryan from His Missing Pieces. His insecurity, his reluctance to talk about it or connect with others in similar kinks, the shyness, it was all familiar. I’d love to read about a main character who is not insecure about the kink aspect and fully embraces it, actually.
Still, the topic is fascinating and the writing fluid, drawing you in into the story. I encountered some small typos and grammatical errors, but nothing too distracting. (For more honest review, check out www.brutallyhonestreview.com)
Age-play is very interesting to me, in regards to whether I enjoy reading it or not. I have enjoyed every age-play book I've read so far, even though I don't understand it and certain aspects make me want to squint and squirm. This one is definitely only for people who know they like age-play.
This series definitely revolves around the diaper side of age play which I didn't mind but it's not what I love about age-play. The good thing is when Tim is 'little' he is a 'little boy', not an infant.
The relationship between these guys develops nicely and the sex is super hot. They have sexual play both when Tim is 'big' and 'little', which I don't usually like but it does work with these two.
I'll keep reading kinky stuff from this author for sure!
I was waiting for the other shoe to drop in books 3 & 4. Not to give anything away but Tim was just a little bit to agreeable when Cade wanted to push to boundaries of their age play relationship. It was a little on the sweet and fluffy side of age play.
This book opened my eyes to this part of the BDSM world and I would not mind reading this subgenre again. M.A. Innes presented this topic well. Looking forward to reading her other works.
The first time I read an age play romance, it was Unexpected by M. A. Innes, and I really enjoyed that story. So, when I learnt there was another book on the same premise by the same author, I jumped on it.
I really like age play romance, it was a kink I would have never expected to like reading about but, it was so well done in Unexpected that I couldn't help loving the concept and the world. I feel like at this point I must warn you that this book is going to be mercilessly compared to Unexpected, just because they feature the same kink and are written by the same author.
A definite departure from Unexpected, was that in this story both participants are exploring age play for the first time, which made scenes much tamer because the characters are still figuring out what they like but that might also make this book easier to read for someone exploring this kink for the first time.
I personally really enjoyed reading about Cade and Tim, and I loved their meet-cute but since I was a little more exposed to the kink, I also wanted a whole lot more play scenes between the characters, but that might be me being greedy. I feel like this book does a wonderful job of simultaneously exploring the romance and the kink between these two characters which makes it a very balanced story and perfect for someone being introduced to the kink for the first time.
I really liked Cade and Tim. Tim is very unassuming and shy but I like that Cade is able to draw him out, this was kind of a new dynamic for me because we have two characters who are equally enthusiastic but one of them is just very shy and Cade at times has to nudge him. For the most part, Tim seems to require being nudged but it just made me wonder where you would draw the line between pushing someone and forcing them. This is not something that is brought up in the story but there are various moments in it where Cade has to nudge Tim into doing something he wants and as the story goes, Tim usually enjoys where they end up when he is nudged into that particular direction but it made me wonder.
Overall, I really enjoyed the story, the kink and the characters and I would recommend this book to anyone trying out an age play romance for the first time.
I really liked this series. I borrowed the full series from KU but it was still separated into 4 shorter stories/volumes. They’re all about the same 2 guys, Tim and Cade.
The book starts off with Tim giving himself a pep talk about finally trying to wear the diapers he bought himself. He lives in an apartment with thin walls and a few weeks later his neighbor, Cade, makes a comment to Tim one morning about Tim’s pep talks, indicating he overheard him... but the comment was in a good way. Cade offers Tim to come out to dinner with him and at the end of the night offers to help him out with his diaper.
Tim and Cade are so cute. Cade has never been a Daddy and Tim has never really been a Little and reading about them figuring it out together was really sweet. Cade was such a great Daddy and really helped Tim when he was nervous and anxious about it all.
The last volume includes Tim and Cade meeting another Daddy/Little couple, Lucas and Gavin, and they ended up having a play date.
Overall, this was a nice short read with ABDL and age play/regression. Super sweet all throughout.
3.5 STARS This was totally adorable and completely different from what I usually read, and although there wasn’t much plot or drama, it was sweet and eye opening actually, it challenges you to admit that if we want to be open-minded we must never judge or assume anything about anyone’s preferences, no matter how different their ways or kinks are, everyone is entitled to do what they want with their lives, and as long as they are not hurting anyone, we have no right to judge or look down on anyone for their preferences. Complete sweet and adorable Daddy/little read.
Tim and Cade's story was just super cute. While Cade was listening in on the private prep talk that his next door neighbor was giving himself, he over hears more then he probably should have. Only fantasizing takes flight, leading Cade down a trail he never know he needed in his life. Tim was struggling with his hidden desires to be a little, planning in step to get him self comfortable enough to wear his *stuff* only with motivations from Cade does he make leaps, was Cade willing to go the distance with him on his journey.
Tim has a secret fantasy that he has never told anyone before. However, when his sexy neighbour accidentally learns his deepest fantasy, he won’t be able to hide from his desire any longer.
This was a complete series charting the relationship between Tim and his neighbour Cade as they explored their fantasies as a new Daddy and his little man. It was a sweet story as they explored age play together and learnt about themselves along the way. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic
This was a super sweet daddy/little book. I loved how they started their relationship and it didn’t feel rushed. I loved how they explored the anxieties around age play. Considering this was written in 2016 I wasn’t sure how it would age. But actually this book felt well researched and knowledgeable in regard to this kink. The only reason it isn’t a 5 star is because the writing was on the simpler side, more detailed descriptions would’ve been nice and some phrases were over used. Overall I really enjoyed it though and it’s a cute/quick read.
I have read this whole story before when it was one book. I left a five star review and went about my business of reading other books. I didn't recognize "My Little Man's" title and bought the set of four books only to find that I had read this story before and my review had disappeared. I still think it is worthy of five stars, but refuse to give four more reviews for the same book. I'm sorry as i really like this author and will continue to read his books....just not this one.
I love this series!! Everything I’ve read by this author has been amazing, and this is no exception. Innes writes m/m Daddy/little like no one else. She has a writing style that is uniquely hers. I wish this series were a little longer so I had more time to spend with Cade and Tim but even so, the book was complete and didn’t feel like it was lacking in anything
Cade and Tim are too cute. I enjoyed their journey. They seemed to communicate well and without judgment. Growing more comfortable and confident in their wants, fantasies and desires. The ending was perfect. Hopefully Cade and Tim will feature in a short future story so I can see how they progress.
His Little Man: The Complete Series is the first I had read of this particular author and I absolutely loved the books. The struggles that Tim and Cade went through together were spot on. The fact that Cade was so careful with Tim and encouraging him yet giving him the right amount of pushing was quite amazing. I'll definitely be reading more books from M.A. Innes
This is an enjoyable ‘little’ series. Being that the books are much shorter than a full length novel it does move quickly. I love that the other couple they met were characters I’d been introduced to in a previous book. Now I’m wondering if they got their own book and I haven’t found it yet.
I have re-read this several times and I love the interaction between Cade and Tim. Their gentle foray into what a relationship would mean for them was really sweet, and it felt like the reader really was sitting nearby watching the interaction and encouraging them on their journey,
Not my kink, but an interesting read. Very enlightening. I'd heard of DDLG because a coworker was a part of the lifestyle. But I never discussed it with her. I'm all for anything that gets you off between two consenting adult. Was pretty steamy, but definitely pushed the envelope for me. But I don't mind being slightly uncomfortable with my reads. That's what good fiction is all about.
Eh. Maybe reading one after the other was not the way to go, but I found it very repetitious and nothing much happened really, maybe until near the end. Also way too much emphasis on diapers and how much of a turn-on they were. Not really my thing. I ended up skimming some at the end just to finish it. So I was just kind of meh. *shrug*
I loved this book ,thin walls came in handy for this couple and when Cade overheard what his cute neighbors needed he new he was the man for the job,I wish there was more books set on this couple because I would like to know if they both moved out of that apartment into a place that they won’t be overheard and started seeing more couple like them
You might consider it a low rating for loved it. But that's because you haven't read Secret in the dark and Flawed Perfection. Ha. This was like a soft intro to a perfected art.
I loved the chemistry between Cade & Tim. I just wish we had been able to see Tim become even more comfortable & be able to go to a group playdate. It feels like their story ended very abruptly. Otherwise it was great.
Sweet and sexy! This book focuses a lot on diapers, I think that’s what I liked most about it. A lot of age play books I’ve read take a while to build up to diapers or it isn’t a big part of the story, but this one dives right in.
I found these books (novellas?) to be rather interesting. I've read my far share of Daddy/Little stories, so these weren't anything new to me. I do think this could be 1 book rather than 4 small ones though. They all pick a day or so after the last one ends.
I loved this from the start. Seeing Tim get more confident as his relationship with Cade grows is probably my favorite part of these. It can be scary but with Cade for a Daddy he’s going to be so happy. And you’ve got to love the thin walls lol.
This is a sweet short story of two men on a journey of discovery - one as a Little, and one as a Daddy. It has a cute beginning, and I loved following the two as they found their desire and fell in love!
