Outlaw Justice is a short but sweet romantic thriller. The main character, Leah, finds herself on the run as she escapes her abusive and powerful husband, Warren. The only place she can think of to hide out is at her high school boyfriend, Steve's old house, which she learned is currently sitting vacant. Imagine her surprise when he shows up and even offers to help her out of her predicament. But Warren's reach is long and they soon find themselves on the run. With nowhere to turn, and no one to ...more

Young love gets interrupted when girl does off to college.
Girl meets wealthy young man, drops out of college, gets married and forgets original first love, or does she??
Husband abuses wife and she finally runs back into the arms of original love who by the way has psychic ability to touch objects and see the past.....

Main characters need some work. The story had a little action which made the read pick up a little. I was getting quite bored till then. The sex scenes were average, not great, I

This is first book by Rebecca York for me and it was quick.

Leah and Steve were lovers when they were younger but their love didn't last long when she is off to college. Leah marries a first man who showed her any affection. But happiness didn't last long. Now she is back at Steve's mother's house and hiding from her husband.
Steve was heartbroken when Leah left her and now he is working at Decorah Security. Steve has a special talent when he

Leah thought she had met the man of her dreams whilst she was at college. But Warren turned into more of a nightmare. Now that she has worked up the courage to leave, she needs a safe place to hide out. Where safer than the abandoned home of your first love?

Steve thought he and Leah would have gone the distance. But she was the privileged rebel and he was the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. But that doesn't mean it didn't hurt when she left him. When he is injured and on leave from De

I try and stay clear of abusive stories of any kind but I heard this book was really good so I read it. As much as I hate the abusive , thinking they are all powerful men. I enjoyed this book, it was a quick read. I always love reading second chance stories. I do recommend this book but it was a bit short and felt a bit rushed I wanted just a bit more detail in some areas.

It will be a challenge for me to keep this review short. Since Outlaw Justice is just a novella of 92 pages, it would seem strange to have a very long review. So the short version: a fast-paced, steamy story with a slightly paranormal twist. Love it!

To do Rebecca York some more justice, here is the longer version. Outlaw Justice is part 13 of the Decorah Security Series. This series is about a PI bureau, which hires

I haven’t read a Rebecca York book in decades. So, when I had the chance I did so with Outlaw Justice it’s the #13 book in the Decorah Security series.

This book could be read as a stand-alone…I didn’t feel that I was missing any past history in regards to storytelling.

Even though the story was short…only approximately 98 pages long.

The story takes place one late night, and Steve Outlaw came to oversee his mother’s property that he rents out. When he arrived he wasn’t to see that the house was tr

Outlaw Justice is a novella by Rebecca York is a novella that is the thirteenth installment of the Decorah Security series. It has been a few years since I have read a book from York, and I do not think any of them were from this series. Thankfully, this book can easily be read as a stand alone with no loss to enjoyment of understanding.

They used to be a hot item. Then Leah left town for college, met, and married the wrong man. Escaping a living hell of a marriage, she runs straight into the arm

I loved this book! I've loved all of the books in the Decorah Security series and also enjoyed this book. The investigators in this series each have a paranormal trait that sets them apart from other investigators. In this novel, Steve has the the ability to learn about a person by touching a personal time of theirs. He might have gotten more than he bargained for with Leah as he "sees" more than he anticipated when he touches something of hers. But they have a history together and it is obvious ...more

Steven Outlaw and Leah had dated back in high school. Then she left and married another man. Now she’s back and hiding from her abusive husband. Steven jumps to help her try to escape.
This book was ok. My problem is that I’ve read this plot a lot recently and there just wasn’t enough of the characters yet to make me really like them.
**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review

Outlaw Justice is part of the Decorah Security Series. It is a short novella but offers the reader action drama, suspense and of course romance. In this case a second chance romance. It isn't necessary to read the whole series to understand the story but it definitely left me wanting to read the rest of the books. ...more

Lovers Reunited

Two high school lovers are reunited after Leah runs away from her abusive husband. With the help of Steve's special power, they realize Leah is in even more trouble than she knew. Ms York mixes steamy love scenes with frightening escapes to create a fast paced story. A really good read.
