I try and stay clear of abusive stories of any kind but I heard this book was really good so I read it. As much as I hate the abusive , thinking they are all powerful men. I enjoyed this book, it was a quick read. I always love reading second chance stories. I do recommend this book but it was a bit short and felt a bit rushed I wanted just a bit more detail in some areas.

I haven’t read a Rebecca York book in decades. So, when I had the chance I did so with Outlaw Justice it’s the #13 book in the Decorah Security series.
This book could be read as a stand-alone…I didn’t feel that I was missing any past history in regards to storytelling.
Even though the story was short…only approximately 98 pages long.

Outlaw Justice is a novella by Rebecca York is a novella that is the thirteenth installment of the Decorah Security series. It has been a few years since I have read a book from York, and I do not think any of them were from this series. Thankfully, this book can easily be read as a stand alone with no loss to enjoyment of understanding.

I loved this book! I've loved all of the books in the Decorah Security series and also enjoyed this book. The investigators in this series each have a paranormal trait that sets them apart from other investigators. In this novel, Steve has the the ability to learn about a person by touching a personal time of theirs. He might have gotten more than he bargained for with Leah as he "sees" more than he anticipated when he touches something of hers. But they have a history together and it is obvious

Outlaw Justice is part of the Decorah Security Series. It is a short novella but offers the reader action drama, suspense and of course romance. In this case a second chance romance. It isn't necessary to read the whole series to understand the story but it definitely left me wanting to read the rest of the books.
