Not after his daughter Elizabeth’s abduction and near decade-long absence, and not after his ex-wife’s murder. He just wants a chance to put his life back together, even though he knows there will always be missing pieces.
As he works to sort out the future, Elizabeth’s new boyfriend goes missing during a camping trip. He doesn’t want to get involved, but Elizabeth insists. When they start looking for him, though, they discover things that don’t quite add up. Things that put them in danger.
And suddenly, Joe isn’t concerned about finding this missing person.
His only goal is making sure he and Elizabeth make it out alive.

Contains spoilers! What starts out as slow paced dialogues quickly morphs into a fast paced adventure that was hard to put down. It was easy to see Joe's training as a policeman kick in as he tried to keep everyone under his care safe. I had to force myself to put the book down so I could take care of normal daily activities like eating! Hope you enjoy this as much as I did! I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This time it started a little slow and I was wondering where the danger would come from, so I quess the start actually did keep me in suspense. And boy did the suspense come. I really like enjoyed this series. On to the last book☹ Hopefully there will be more from Joe Tyler.
Although I like this author's series, this is the second plot that had no depth. I skimmed a few long chapters but quickly moved on to the dialogue. I am hoping the next book is as powerful as five in this series. I manage to read each book within a day. The characters captivate.
This is by far one of the best series I've ever read. I finished the book in a day. For anyone who hasn't read all of the Joe Tyler books, I highly recommend them.
