Ich wünsche mir mehr Nobelpreis-Träger, deren Werke ich mit so einer Leichtigkeit und nicht vorgetäuschtem Interesse lesen konnte!
Ich gebe ehrlich zu, dass ich nur ungefähr ein Fünftel dieses Buches gelesen habe. Mehr habe ich für meine Arbeit nicht gebraucht und (zu meinem eigenen Nachteil) gehören Wirtschaftstheorien nicht zu meiner gewöhnlichen Freizeitlektüre. Die übrigen vier Fünftel wurden nur „schnellgelesen“. Dennoch stehe ich zu meinen drei (und halb) Sternen. Plausibel, wunderbar strukturiert, minimal Geplauder und größtenteils nur wenig oberflächliche Generalisierungen.

A great book on transaction costs and market organisation

This book changed the way that I look at the world.

The area of Organizational Economics is one that I have found to be quite intriguing. The ideas that Williamson presents are often connected to business and traditional economics. To think this way would be limiting the true value of these theories and concepts. They apply to any and all areas of life.
