Wonderfully illustrated. Somewhat disconcerting that the illustrations didn't go along with the text.

The pictures are awesome! The pictures did not follow the story though (page by page) so it was a bit confusing at first; but if you read this review then you'll be prepared to expect this. This book is dated though. It ends at Prince Charles and Princess Diana having their first child, so the beginning of the 1980's is when the story ends. It's like a history book, not a novel. I found it particularly interesting learning what the Royal Family does in their lives. They are quite the adventuresome lot (particularly Prince Charles) on their off duty time.
