"Bobby Akart has written remarkable novels before, but nothing compares to the thrill ride leading up to CHOOSE FREEDOM. This series is filled with the exceptional realism and intricate plotting that are his hallmarks. This man can tell a story." ~ Amazon Top 500 Reviewer
When faced with the tough choices necessary to preserve our nation's ideals, I say we Choose Freedom!"

With those words, the new American patriots, The Loyal Nine, operating under the specter of their forefathers, undertook the impossible - defeating the tyranny which infected their own government.

From six-time Amazon bestselling author Bobby Akart, CHOOSE FREEDOM concludes The Boston Brahmin series as the battle to preserve America's freedoms expands across the nation.

But first, The Loyal Nine must resolve conflicts between themselves. An old friend arrives and takes up the fight as the insurgency movement of The Mechanics continues. The President is firmly entrenched in a "third term", and he uses his new allies, a globalist-sponsored Army in the form of the UN Peacekeeping forces to quash dissent.

For freedom-loving patriots, a martyr is remembered, a leader is born, and Americans come together under the battle cry -

This review is in part for this book and the series as a whole. This book seemed like a very quick wrap up of the series. I really like this author and his writing style and the series kept me interested throughout the 6 books. It is hard where my political leaning are different than the book so the allusion that Obama is a crazed tyrant and that the left is responsible for the decline in America is bothersome. Not surprisingly, this book resonates for me better if I substitute the current administration in. A totally fictional president and political figures would have worked better for me. Also, Abigail Morgan starts out as a rising star in politics and then sinks to near invisibility in several books and with a minor role in this last book. The fact remains that the horror of the event that caused so much suffering was caused by the Boston Brahmin. They were responsible so it seems hypocritical to be the saviors. Arsonist-fireman. Apparently those voters were not aware of this crucial fact.

WOW, this series ended with quite the statement!

I quote: "America is built on the universal ideas of equality and liberty. America is the only nation in the world founded on a creed that is applicable to all men and all times. This is what makes America an exceptional country. God Bless America!" This series also sums up the importance of our Constitution, the problems resulting from voter fraud, and the deterioration of ethics and honor in a country now shaped by corrupt individuals wanting control, complete control It's very strange that, 4 years after this book was written, many of the issues touched on in this series could be taken from this month's headlines. God bless America, we sure need it!

Truth

I admit to being shocked at times by the revelations in this series of books. Fiction? I wonder. Too much truth implies facts about the rest of this fictional account. Regardless, it is an exciting and intriguing story with plenty of plot twists and interesting characters. Informative regarding history without becoming pompous. Sure hope that this series doesn’t end up putting Mr. Akart on one of the new “watch lists”!

great read

I really enjoyed this book and one of the series that came up with the solution that was needed after the chaos that occurred. Most of the books that I have read about “the end of the world as we know it” show the prepper making it out but not what happened after. It may be fictional but it makes you believe there are someway to make it after it all hits the fan. On to the next one!

Worth reading

I have finished the six book series and felt compelled to leave a review. I enjoyed the book and the characters. I appreciate the history as it relates to the story being written. My criticism is that I start to skim when I feel Akart is ram bling and I find that to be boring. Loved the Black out series.

Tons of political intrigue...

Mixed in with an apocalyptic background. Political characters and political storyline make for a different reading than most other dystopian apocalyptic books. If you are interested in the machinations behind the worlds political doors this is the series for you.

Interesting

As the storyline continues, the author affirms that if you are rich and powerful you can commit any crime and get away scott free. John Morgan and Boston Brahmin along with the President commit an act of terror on the critical electric infrastructure. Are they held to account for the millions of deaths this has caused? NO!! Why? Because they are rich and powerful.

Survival thriller

Boston and their region have obtained freedom from foreign troops and the Citizen government. As they work to restore basics to citizens they reach out to other like minded individuals in other states, espousing the ideals they have fought for. The Choose Freedom movement is expanded across America but not without resistance.

Radio broadcasts continue with Sarge urging local governments to rebuild at a local and then a regional level. The concept of freedom and liberty draws the second Convention and an establishment of the new capitol in Boston. There will be an interim president for a year. But will the current president step down,be impeached, or will Civil War occur?

Fantastic Series

A great addition to the series. My only critique is that I felt the end of this book, and hence the series, wrapped up too fast. I would have preferred more closure for such a fantastic story. It's a phenomenal book and I greatly enjoyed it!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series. I went into with high expectations after really many of the authors books. I was not disappointed! The author does a superb job of chasing down every thread making sure there are no holes in the plot line and tying up all the loose ends.

Unfortunately appropriate given the current political divides and challenges in the United States. Good what-if story and how people could respond to a national crisis.

Choose Freedom is the conclusion to the Boston Brahmin series. Fast paced and another edge of your seat read. Although this is the last Boston Brahmin book, I feel that not everything was resolved within the series. For instance will the 'former president' finally stand down? Or will it cause a civil war?

With the way the current political and economical divides are in this country, I can envision something like this happening. I can only hope that I am prepared to survive it.

The incredible Boston Brahmin series finally comes to an end.

After so much planning, preparing, politicking, and defending, the Loyal Nine must find a way to restore this great country and survive the revolution against the current tyranny in place.

I won't go into any character details, in order to not spoil the story, but this book was absolutely amazing! Mr. Akart's writing left me breathless with the action and suspense. Who will survive this push for freedom? And who will stand in the way? It was an incredible adventure with heart wrenching moments, times that I cheered, and situations that made me sob! A total emotional rollercoaster of epicness!

If you haven't already, I strongly urge you to start this series today! This final book brings the adventure to a close with tears, laughter, and peace. Beautifully written. Extremely well done! And yes, I choose freedom!

Bobby Akart breaks out his personal "bag of ballistic badassery," his pen, and takes the reader on a tour-de-force of character development and strategic and tactical twists and turns the likes of which have not been seen since settlers battled for independence from Great Britain and struggled to form a more perfect union circa 1775 A.D.

As the silent majority of Americans pick up the scent of hope in the aftermath of devastation, a changing of the guard is necessary while freedom from tyranny becomes the driving purpose.

Joining characters old and new, 2nd Lieutenant Michael Smalley answers the call and helps turn the tide for the betterment of mankind.

Though globalists conspire, and assassination attempts rear their timeless heads, fate holds sway, giving a possible rebirth of a nation a real chance.

The lengths to which Bobby Akart aspires to harvest expertly sewn seeds of liberty across the devoted Patriot theme of the Boston Brahmin series are glorious! Few authors have succeeded in similar pursuits, and none have nurtured more real, endearing characters than Bobby Akart.

Choose the Boston Brahmin Series, and always, Choose Freedom!

Another great story

To quote the author, “All of these books (prepper survival) throw the characters into the shit and write about how they survive. But none of them reveal how to put Humpty Dumpty back together again after the great fall.” Bobby Akart shows us in this finale of his series how to put us together again.

Thoroughly enjoyed this series. But does it end? I see a recovery, reformation and a new direction our government should inspire to make our nation great again. Put our nation back to work through manufacturing, farming and making us self sufficient and break us out of this entitled welfare nation.

Yes, definitely see another book.

Where's the rest of the story?

The Loyal Nine and the Boston Brahmin continue their struggle to rebuild the United States while going up against a third term president.

Akart’s 6th and final novel of The Boston Brahmin series, Choose Freedom, is written in an almost outline style. I loved this series and was totally disappointed in this book. It’s as though the author was in a hurry to be done with it. Instead of a complete story there are lots of fits and starts. It is very disjointed. Things just happened with no explanation. Too much was left for the reader to figure out on their own.

It breaks my heart to give this book a review like this.

2 out of 5 stars.

Food for thought

Wow. What a series. As pointed out in early books in this series, our electric grid does need upgrading and hardening against attack.

With the history covered in this book, i think it would be good for history teachers to use. Then again it is pretty controversial.

I really did enjoy this series. I wonder if there will be another book. It did kind of have an open ending.
