The writing style is honestly a bit dry, but I'm glad that I pushed through and enjoyed the glimpse of character, culture, and values from this generation of primarily Utah Latter-Day Saints as portrayed in this book. It's an easy quick read but inspired me to work harder, be more cheerful, and value the time I have with my elderly relatives.

I loved that this book was written in a short- read format. You could pick it up and put it down - although it was addicting and hard to put down. I love to hear stories from previous generations. It makes me realize how good we really do have it now and to be grateful for their hard work.

A few great things mixed in but overall I didn't walk away with too much new.

This book is full of little snippets in the lives of everyday people. The author has interviewed several elderly people and gives us a little glimpse into their everyday lives.

This wasn't quite what I was expecting. The stories are touching, but I don't really feel that the book's title is justified.
