Un volume eccellente, assolutamente consigliato che analizza come il nostro modo di fare esperienza, conoscere e apprendere si stia modificando in favore di approcci reticolari e sistemici.
Tra i brani che mi sono piaciuti di più riporto una votazione chiave per la comprensione dell'intera opera di Siemens, alla quale sono particolarmente legato e che ritengo eccezionale:

«To know today means to be connected. Knowledge moves too fast for learning to be only a product. We used to acquire knowledge by bringing it close to ourselves. We were said to possess it – to have it exist in our heads. We can no longer seek to possess all needed knowledge personally. We must store it in our friends or within technology.»

Si bien por momentos se me hizo difícil la comprensión debido a la estructura más bien fragmentaria y cierta tendencia a la abstracción, me parece un libro muy estimulante. Las características con que se describen el conocimiento y el aprendizaje en la era digital, así como los desafíos que estas características representan para los sistemas educativos tradicionales resultan de gran relevancia todavía, pese a haberse publicado hace más de una década.
