Ah, those were the days. The IBM PC had been introduced (1982) and people could have a computer in their house. No Internet, of course. Just diskettes and a text-based screen. We were hobbyists. Trying to understand the machine and its software -- ooperating system and applications. This book was a good introduction.

January 4, 2019This was an excellent book of the time to detail exactly what is going on inside a computer. The ideas still hold true today.
