Dieser Manga konnte mich nicht so begeistern wie erhofft. Anfangs musste ich mich auch sehr an den Zeichenstil, eigentlich an den kompletten Manga gewöhnen. Es spielt alles sehr schnell ab und manchmal musste ich diesen Manga einfach weglegen, weil ich in dem moment so verwirrt war und erstaml alles sacken lassen musste. Doch irgendwann konnte ich mich dran gewöhnen. Die Story an sich war spannend und auch erfrischend. Aber ich konnte mich nicht wirklich in die Charakter versetzen. Man bekommt viel über die Geschichte vom Dämonengott und den sechs Kämpfer mit, die unglaubliche Kräfte haben. Jedesmal wen der Dämonengott vorhat die Welt zu zerstören, stehen diese sechs Kämpfer auf. Doch diesesmal ist es anders, den diesesmal gibt es sieben Helden. Einer lernt man schon ganz am Anfang kennen. Adlet nennt sich selbst als der stärkste Kämpfer, wobei er genau das Gegenteil von dem ist. Er ist ein trickbetrüger und führt seine Gegner gerne in eine Falle. Sein Humor hat mich oftmals zum Grinsen gebracht und er war auch der einzige, der mir den Grund gab weiter zu lesen. Neben Adlet lernt man noch mehr Charakter und Helden kennen. Man selbst ist am Rätseln warum es nun sieben Kämpfer sind und schnell merkt man, das einer der Helden vorhat, die anderen Helden zu töten. Aber ich möchte nicht genau darauf eingehen, den sonst würde ich den ganzen Manga spoilern.
Der Zeichenstil war detailreich. Die Story ging für mich einfach zu schnell voran und legt sich erst am Ende des Mangas. Es endet auch mit einem Cliffhanger und man ist als Leser dennoch neugierig, wie es weitergeht. Spannung war definitiv vorhanden, aber mir hat das authentische an den Charakter gefehlt. Ich bin einfach im zwiespalt wie viele Herzchen ich dem Manga geben soll und musste auch nochmal gut nachdenken. Ich bin auch zu dem entschluss gekommen das es drei Herzchen verdient hat. Die Story an sich kennt man vielleicht schon und ist trotzdem erfrischend und das hat einfach drei Herzchen verdient. Ob ich die Reihe weiterverfolgen werde, kann ich nicht mit gewissheit sagen. Trotzdem besteht bei mir die neugier, wie es weiter geht.

I'm so intrigued by this series! I was attracted by the cover art, and the whole "six heroes but oopsie, there's seven" bit! As I started to read...I became more and more intrigued. Our six braves are chosen by the Goddess of Fate and their goal is to defeat the Demon God. We start out with Adlet, who swiftly meets up with Fremy. Turns out someones killing off the braves. Once the culprit is revealed and dealt with, we soon meet up with the other braves, but something's gone wrong. As our group try to work out how to fix the situation so they can, you know...go and kill the Demon God, it becomes apparent that there's one extra Brave. But who is it? Suspicion swiftly falls on poor old Adlet who I'm fairly sure is innocent unless there's a huge plot twist!
Right from the start, I was interested to know more about the world, its history and so on. From my perspective, we jumped right in, and there's a lot to take in. It's a bit confusing at the start, and I'm tempted to watch the anime to see if it explains things further. But the pace is fast, and there's plenty of action from the start. I was definitely left wanting more at the end, and kinda desperate for the next volume because poor Adlet was fleeing for his life and then it's like "....until next time folks!".
I liked the art, I loved the characters, they're an interesting bunch and I'm intrigued to know more about them. They're all different from each other, with their own vibrant personalities. I really enjoyed the mystery aspect that was coming in to play at the end, trying to work out who the imposter is and how the barrier was triggered! My problem is that I'm really sure that the one character I don't like is a legitimate Brave, which means the ones I really like are all suspect!
This was a great start to the series, and it's piqued my interest right from the start! I'm desperate for answers, so I can't wait for volume 2 to be released!

Das war der größte Reinfall seit langem. So etwas langweiliges, schlechtes und chaotisches habe ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt. Ich bereue es eigentlich sehr selten einen Manga gekauft zu haben, aber hier tue ich es.
Die Handlung ist wirr, langatmig und langweilig. Sorry, aber ich kann nicht mal richtig eine Handlung hier wiedergeben. Es passiert so wenig, dass man wirklich kaum etwas erwähnen kann ohne das bisschen zu spoilern, was es hier gibt. Es wird eine Ewigkeit damit verbracht die einzelnen Charaktere vorzustellen und alle sind sowas von unsympathisch, dass dies keinen Spaß machte. Viele Charaktere sahen sich sehr ähnlich und ich konnte dem ganzen kaum folgen. Alles war unpersönlich und oberflächlich.
Der Zeichenstil ist ebenfalls kein Highlight. Alles ist so verwirrend und unklar gezeichnet, dass ich mit 50% der Bilder nichts anfangen konnte oder mehrmals hinsehen musste, um einen Sinn zu erkennen. Es gab ein paar Perlen bei den Zeichnungen. Vor allem die Panels, wo Charaktere einzeln dargestellt wurden oder Gesichter in Nahaufnahme gezeichnet waren. Aber die Actionszenen, also Szenen bei denen es wichtig ist zu erkennen was da passiert, war es dann wieder eine Katastrophe aus meiner Sicht. Nein, das war gar nichts für mich.

As a big fan of this series, I picked up the manga of Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers to try to get everything I could out of the characters and world I loved so much. This was a disappointing adaptation. This first volume of the manga leaves out too many important details of the story, and if I hadn't already known what was happening, I would have been confused about the plot. The art is beautiful at times and too cluttered at others, and it can be difficult to parse what some panels are trying to convey. For people who have already read the light novels or seen the anime, I would recommend this manga to get more out of this story, but for those who haven't, I would not recommend starting with this at all.

Auch wenn es für Manga leider nicht typisch ist, hätte ich mir zur Einführung in die Geschichte etwas mehr Prologe gewünscht. Es ist immer schwer in ein Fantasy Setting rein zu kommen, indem man nur die Geschichte an sich liest. Allerdings kommt man halbwegs schnell in die Story rein, es ist nur schade das die Hälfte des Buches quasi eine Fantasy Version von Among Us ist. Ich hätte mir gewünscht mal etwas mehr als 3 Szenen dieser Fantasie Welt zu sehen, bisher ist die Geschichte sehr flach und eher langweilig.

I don't know, the characters just weren't that interesting. They're very cookie cutter thus far. It feels like nothing really happened.

March 22, 2017Thinner then I thought it would be, but a great story nonetheless. It unexpectedly came with two colour pages, which is always a bonus. I recommend checking out the anime series if you want more!

The art was great. Storytelling... not so great. If someone read this without watching the anime or reading the light novel, I don't know if they would know what was going on.
