Bite: Claiming His Mate

Rate this book
In an instant, Shane Cooper went from rich daddy's boy to claimed werewolf mate. Trying to come to terms with the sudden changes in his life and the devastatingly handsome boy that's the cause of all his woes, a strange affliction befalls Shane, knocking him unconscious and forcing him into a half shift.

Ryan Moss doesn't know what's wrong with his new mate, but he's quick to blame himself. Shane's body keeps changing even though his bite has taken hold, the full moon bringing out a shift in his human mate that shouldn't be possible. Certain Shane will die if a solution isn't found, Ryan must find his reclusive brother while avoiding his old pack that would rather kill him than welcome him back into their territory.

The packs' pagan superstitions are back to haunt Ryan while he watches his mate struggle to survive. Shane's inner turmoil could very well destroy the boy along with the spirit wolf he holds within.

This is the "morning after" to Book 1 - Heat. Wow, the emotional development was amazing. It changed this serial from smut to romance.

7/2022 reread. Still 5 stars.

This was a very fierce and feral read, especially when it comes to Shane, who was bitten (to mate) in the first book of this series. Shane starts becoming seriously sick and is unable to fully turn into his wolf, which he's not supposed to have considering the fact that he's human. This was fantastically written and the characters were definitely alluring. I was totally engrossed throughout the story. :)

3.8 stars!

In this sequel we will see more from Sean POV.

As in book 1, the heat is still burning between the MC's. Sean become the aggressor him changing in a way that he shouldn't.

Ryan fears for his mate and that fear make him go to seek help even though things could end up pretty bad for him.

I can't wait for the next book!!!

****I would like to thank the author for the privilege and opportunity of reading this ARC. My review is an honest opinion of the book****

Not quite as hot and bothered as the first one but still packing some heat.

A little tit for tat going on.. have to say, Hell ya some of your own medicine but the explanation behind Shane's transformation was lacking.

This book was just....wow. The amount of development between just two books outstanding. It moves pretty fast because these books are a duet and not very long. But the story that these two tell gets me hot and bothered. For a second we’re worried about Shane, but after some TLC and a little deja vu, he feels much better. I was NOT expecting to love this as much as I did. Sadie Sins really pushes my buttons! Someone get me a fan!

Good continuation to book one

Sadie definitely took this story in a direction that I didn't foresee from the first book, and I thought it was great. The first book was very Ryan POV-centric while this one was more Shane focused.

Excellent

Both stories were good and I like the story between them. I wouldn't mind a story about the brother Will

Sin sentido, al menos explica algo de los sentimientos de los personajes.

*I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinion stated are solely my own and no one else's*

I love Sadie's books and this one didn't disappoint: it was hot, steamy, exciting and intense.

Ryan and Shane had crazy, explosive chemistry - I couldn't stop fanning myself throughout. As events unfolded, my heart started pounding and I found myself gripping the edge of my seat. The characters emotions and fears were captured beautifully. This book was dirty, wild and damn sexy.

Loved it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Loved it!

I enjoyed the growth of the relationship between Ryan and Shane, and Shane coming to terms with his feelings. Can't wait for the next installment.

I have to say, I'm kinda disappointed with this book. There were a lot of loose ends and the world needs more explaining. I don't understand the status of werewolves in the world and I need more exposure to the families of both Ryan and Shane's. There are just a lot of missed potential here and I'm just unsatisfied.

I feel like the book did a lot more thinking than showing. And again, there are a lot of plot holes everywhere and I need those filled. This is a 1.5 for me and I'll just have to settle for a 2 STARS here on Goodreads
