Black Out

Rate this book
TWO MURDERS

Determined to start her life anew, Evie Black has moved to New York. She has no friends, no money, and worst of all, hates her job. Life is, in every sense, dull.

ONE SUSPECT

But then she meets Calvin Durant, a man on trial for murdering his family. When he insists that he didn’t do it, and offers evidence to support his claim, Evie is forced to believe him.

NO MEMORY

Racing against the clock, Evie embarks on a hunt for the real killer. If she can find him before it’s too late, she might just save an innocent man… and get a murderer off the streets.

“Black Out is a fast-paced, page-turning thriller to kick-start Evie Black’s new spin-off series.”

Mystery and suspense

This book takes you through the justice system of America. With twists and turns, and many suspects Evie Black works harder than a detective would. Not only to try to free a man who claims innocents, but to prove to herself and the people of America that justice can work.

Unexpected!

This is a quick, easy, entertaining read with enough twists and turns to keep the reader engaged and guessing. With a protagonist that you can't help but love and everyone else suspect you will cheer for Evie against the odds!

Black Out

This is the first book in the Evie Black series. It is a spin off from her brothers series the Mason Black series. This series is as good as the other one . Worth reading. Would recommend it.

Great story.

But too short . Not enough suspence. Would have liked to have had more details been more difficult to solve
