Whether your interest is Israel, the development of a sensitive young mind, Judaism or God, you will never forget Alex: Building A Life. Read it and laugh and cry. In other words, read it and live a remarkable life that was cut short.

this epistolatory memoir combines letters, journal entries and sketches documenting Singer's life from college to his death on the front line against Arab terrorists in 1987 in Israel's security zone in Lebanon. This documents his travels to study in London and meet refuseniks in Russia. Ultimately, he does what they cannot and followed a brother's steps to return from America to Israel and join the ISD. An extensive glossary supports the moving book of a scholar cum soldier.
