MAY CONTAIN SPOILER:

This book was a book that I will read over and over! It told a majestic story of 3 heroines, friends, armies, and tyrants. Every single page had me hooked and I was interested in what would happen next. I love how realistic the book is in terms of how these reptiles and amphibians look, what they eat, and where they live. On the o

Title: The Gecko's Gate - Assassins
Author: Dennis Stein
Genre: Fantasy/Action
Rating: *****
Review: The opening chapter to The Gecko's Gate - Assassins was amazing we are introduced to different races of reptiles including geckos and their respective cities. I loved the fact that all the characters we have meet so far are anthropomorphic and it is something I haven't seen much of and was very excited to continue reading. I loved the vivid descriptions of the characters and the different

Review

‘The Gecko’s Gate’ was a typical novel written with an unoriginal plot with way too many stereotypical character archetypes that my mind must have fallen asleep as soon as I got a few pages in. To put it simply, the book was so average it became bad.
I must admit it, the book was extremely well written. The prose was absolutely beautiful and spoke of either a high degree in English literature or a hef

I received this book in advance through NetGalley for reviewing purposes; the following is my HONEST opinion of the book as I was in no way obligated to give a positive review. Thank you NetGalley and Sands Press for letting me read this book in advance!

I was really excited to read The Gecko's Gate because I liked the description and I am in love with the cover. Hearing that Dennis Stein is an award winning author, I was even more excited to see what kind of skills he had. However, I came out q

I received a complimentary copy of this e-book in return for my honest opinion. All opinions are my own.

At the beginning of this book I didn't like that the characters were all lizards. But as I got into the story, it became a non issue. The story just pulled me in and I honestly had to finish it, just to see what happened. I really enjoyed the descriptions of the places they lived and traveled. It was also really enjoyable to read stories about the lizards, obviously fantasy ones, where it was

"The Gecko's Gate" is an interesting tale that follows three friends who have been unexpectantly tasked with saving their world. A classic tale of good versus evil with a twist of taking place between lizard clans. The trials the young trio endure show the reader how friendship can triumph through adversity. An open ending leaves the reader wanting more. Will the trio survive? Will they save the gate and their world from the evil Lord Cyrus? I for one want to know the answers to these questions ...more
