Hands On #1

Hands On

Rate this book
Hands On is the first of a three-part erotic series from New York Times and USA best-selling author Cathryn Fox.

When hot as hell Danielle Lang showed up and asked me to teach her about sex, I thought I was hallucinating. Turns out the beautiful psychologist needed an extra bit of schooling in all things sexual so she could teach a class.

I’m always up for helping a friend. I mean, it’s the least I can do. What I wasn’t expecting is for her to turn the tables and teach me a few things. Only this short-term promise of two weeks in her bed is going by a little too quickly. Not that I’m thinking forever or anything.

I’ve got a football career to get back to. And she doesn’t want to be a part of my world. There’s no way we can be together—so I’m going to make sure I enjoy every sexy second….

This is the first of a three-part series full of mind-blowing sex, featuring a dirty-mouthed football player who knows the score and an inexperienced therapist who needs to learn it. HANDS ON is sure to leave readers begging for more. The next installment, Body Contact, will be published August 2016.

The Hands On serial is best enjoyed in order.

"...I'm going to keep you aroused and swollen for the next two weeks. You're going to want my cock so bad, you'll be begging for it."

➦This is a first part of the fun and sexy Hands On serial. It's a very short and steamy read in which Danielle, the heroine, has only two weeks to get some hands on experience so she can confidently teach a sex therapy course.

➦Enter Jack, a hot quarterback, who is back in town and recovering from an injury. These two happen to go way back and Danielle sees her chance to make her sex education happen. Will Jack agree to it?

❤I usually don't read serials and I find them rather hard to rate. I give this 4 stars because it has great potential. I found it to be pretty steamy with quite a bit of anticipation. It might or might not have included some fun phone times! I don't want to give too much away :) Can't wait to see how the story continues!

Side note... So Jack comes over to Danielle's apartment and... unexpectedly....
"Jack paced in Holly's living room, marshaling his cock into submission..."

Hands On Cathryn Fox:

Hands On is the first in a three part series by Cathryn Fox. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by NetGalley, Entangled Scorched, and by the author. This is my second book by this author and I can honestly say that I am in love with her books. They are sexy and steamy and the characters are so easy to love.

Danielle Lang just finished her psychology degree and is looking forward to a future in family counseling. But at the moment, she is looking at a mountain of debt. She has been offered the opportunity to teach a summer course in sex therapy and the paychecks will definitely help to put a dent in her bills. But there is one problem. She doesn’t have any experience to use for the class. None…at…all! Is it just coincidence that while having coffee with her best friend the object of her high school fantasies who is now a famous football player happens to walk into the coffee shop?

hot guy:

Jack Rider loves playing football. But due to an injury, he is off the field for the time being. To pass the time, he has gone home and is helping out with his Dad’s auto shop. It’s something he enjoys and gets his mind off his pain. He can’t believe it when he sees Danielle in the coffee shop. She certainly has grown up. He always had a thing for her. Yes, he has had plenty of women but something about her always stayed with him. She’s all prim and proper. So no one is more shocked than he is when she walks into his garage and propositions him for sex.

Danielle’s best friend has convinced her that Jack is the perfect person to teach her about sex. She has two weeks until the class begins so Jack would have two weeks to teach her everything she needs to know. If he says yes.

When Jack goes over to Danielle’s house, it doesn’t take him long to figure out that something is amiss here. He finally gets the truth out of her. So he changes his tactics. Yes, he will teach her, but at a slower pace. She can’t even look him in the eye and talk about sex yet.

 :

In these short pages, I fell in love with these two. Danielle is so awkward and endearing. And Jack, sigh. I love that he is doing this his own way and Danielle’s first sensual experience is a doozy. I can’t look at my cell phone without thinking about it.

I’ve said before that I just love these student/teacher scenarios. I can’t wait to see what happens next with the second installment due out in August, Body Contact.

ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first in a series of three books (I think the next are out in August and September).

Danielle Lang just graduated as a psychologist and needs some money fast, so she took a Summer job teaching Sex Ed to students. Problem is, she has NO sexual experience. Her BFF suggests finding someone to get down and dirty with to help her along. Enter Jake Rider. Football player recovering from Knee surgery.

Sounds good right? I thought so, that's why I requested it. Alas I found it a little bit disappointing. Jack is sexy as hell and I LOVED him. Danielle though was one of those ridiculously cliché virgin heroines that acted like a damn 16 year old. Scratch that, most 16 year olds would act more mature...

description

“Tell me,” he pushed. “Yes,” she rushed out. “Yes what?” “Yes, I’m wet.” “What’s wet?” “You know,” she practically hissed and gestured downward with a nod, looking everywhere and anywhere but at him. Her lack of eye contact said one thing, but her body language told another story. Hell, she was as easy to read as an open book—which gave him an idea. “Down there,” she bit out, unable to say the word"

"Are we going to go home and you know...do it?"

description

I mean SERIOUSLY?! I am suppose to believe that a 20 something woman who graduated College as a psychologist can't say the word "VAGINA" or "SEX". How did this woman even get a job teaching Sex-Ed. She's clearly got the maturity of a child. I swear I rolled my eyes SO many times at Danielle's behavior they rolled clear out of my head.

description

That said. I will probably give the next book a try because I hope (Lord do I hope) that Danielle starts acting like an adult under Jack's tutelage. Plus Jack is sex on a stick, so there's that!

Hands On is the first installment in a three-novella series. Oh my word. This book. It took me less than thirty minutes to finish this novella, but wow. Is it hot in here or what?

Psychiatrist Danielle Lang lands a gig to talk about sex therapy, but thing is, the only knowledge she has about sex come from books. How will she be able to talk about sex and its intricacies if she knows nothing about it? In comes Seattle Kings star quarterback Jack Rider.

After a knee injury, Jack moves back to his hometown to recuperate. He really needs to get better or else he might just say goodbye to his career. On a way to a coffee fix, he sees Danielle, as hot and beautiful as he remembered from high school. Unbeknownst to him, Danielle's best friend is goading her into asking Jack to sleep with her. So when she drops by his auto mechanics shop and invites him to her place to sleep with her, he's pleasantly surprised but 100% willing.

Just when things are getting hot and heavy, Jack finds out that Danielle is a virgin, so instead of just doing the deed and popping the cherry, Jack promises to teach her everything and make sure her first time is the best she could ever have. And he has two weeks to give it to her.

The Hands On series is a bit of a second chance friends-with-benefit story since Jack and Danielle knew each other back in high school, and it seemed like Jack and Danielle harbored feelings––or attraction, at least––for each other.

Jack is hot! Jeez. He's a confident alpha who knows what to do and knows what just what to say. His mouth. Lordy lord. They haven't even gone all the way yet, but just judging by his words, you know he's going to rock Danielle's world.

Danielle is a meek yet independent girl who never had time for dating and sex until now. There are a few hints here and there about her past life and life in general, and I look forward to finding more about her. I'm not that much of a fan of the obliviously pretty girls, but well, we can't have everything.

Hands On is a fun, sexy, steamy start to a (hopefully) wonderful series, and I look forward to reading Body Contact and Fully Exposure.

4 Potentially Scorching Stars

When I first read the synopsis for Hands On, I was immediately intrigued. Hot football player agrees to teach shy and awkward psychiatrist everything he know about sex. All in the name of academia, of course. Nothing I haven’t read before but it’s worked for me in the past. Then I read the word “serial” and came thiiis close to running in the opposite direction. Luckily for me, I came to my senses and gave it a shot.

“Is this a date, Danielle?”
Her gaze flew to his. “No. It’s sex. Just sex. No strings.”
Right. Just sex. No strings. But that didn’t mean there couldn’t be a little rope involved.

Wracked with debt and in danger of going under financially, newly minted psychiatrist Danielle Lang is offered the chance to teach a Sex Ed. class for adults. Unfortunately for Danielle and the poor saps who’ll be enrolled in her class, she has absolutely no sexual experience. Like, no man’s rounded first base kind of inexperience.

Nope. Not even that.

A chance encounter with Jake Rider, the star of her teenage fantasies, has her making a bold move and asking if he’d like to have the sex with her. You know, for research purposes. When Jake agrees to the aforementioned sex, he has no idea he’ll be Danielle’s first.

If you guessed things don't quite go as planned, you'd be correct. Jake decides he’s still more than happy to lend Danielle a hand, but only If he can be in charge of the lessons. I don’t want to give anything away, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that plan of action.

It’s always been incredibly difficult for me to rate and review a first installment of a serial. With that in mind, I’ll say this series has an abundance of erotic potential. Admittedly, the character development is almost non-existent but you know what? I’m almost certain a deeper knowledge of the character’s psyche isn’t what the author’s after here. The chemistry between these two is amazing and both characters, especially Danielle, have the chance to develop as the story rolls along.

I’m glad part two of the Hands On series is set to release next month. Jake embracing his role as instructor to Danielle’s student should be hot as hell.

'Hands On' by Cathryn Fox is book one in this continue series called" Hands On" series. This is the story of Danielle Lang and Jake Rider. This is a short story introduction to the characters with about 67 pages. There will be two more books or so after this one to continue their story. I found that I really did like this book. It was funny and at the same time sexy.
Danielle is starting a sex therapy class to help earn some money to pay her bills. Sounds okay right? Well maybe if you weren't a virgin. Danielle friend talks her into asking Jake to help her with her 'problem'. Jack is in town after having a injury that has put him on the sidelines until he gets clearance to go back to the game.
I can't wait for the next installment!!

3 Potential... Oh, the Potential Stars
* * *
So let's set the stage:

Danielle Lang, newly minted and desperately broke psychologist who needs funds as soon as possible. Has the opportunity to make that cash she needs, only there is one tiny issue...The way out of her financial troubles is to teach a Sex Education Class for Adults...
Shouldn't be a problem..
All of us have bodies, experience with them and at some point had a little slap and tickle to out and out F*@king...

Right...except not so much...

It seems Daniele is that one lone princess who has been in a no-sex bubble all through high school, college and after that. She has read about it; understands the mechanics of it...but actually have lips touch hers, hands grab ass...the hole nine yards, nothing.

Now our gal has had a vivid imagination and in high school the one she thought of, the one that made her get all squirmy was the Star Football Player Jake Rider. The idea of Jack and all the hot, sexy things he could do would play on repeat in her dreams. So imagine her surprise when it seems Jack, successful professional player, is here due to an injury and available for her brainiac idea of having him tutor her in sex.

Shouldn't be an issue... she knows him, he probably likes sex... so a quick wam-bam then has done the deed and can talk in class like she knows what she's saying.
When presented Daniele's idea... a slow grin comes across Jack's face after the shock wears off...because everyone knows a great football player likes to run his own game plan and Jack is no different.

This is the first installment and with the idea of Daniele being a quick study with Jack as hands on instructor, this sounds just fine with me.

The next installment is Body Contact coming in August 2016.

The story has good potential but it's still too early to call the game. The installment of the serial is super short and ends as it starts to get interesting. There is an implied history of mutual want but both intend on a two week fling. I was pleasantly surprised by Jack's decision and like him so far. Danielle is kind of awkward in a dorky way which I enjoy. This can go either way for me so I guess we'll see as I'm going to read part two next. I'm now approaching serials, which I generally avoid, with caution as so far I've had a few start good and flop. Safety: No OW/OM/Sharing. h is a V. No rape/abuse.

I have read several Cathryn Fox books but hands down, her newest three part erotic serial has me already eagerly awaiting for book two of the series. Hands On was simply a fun, sexy and entertaining read!! Sometimes, you just need a quick book to relax and unwind and Cathryn Fox provided her readers just that. In this light, carefree read, Cathryn introduces readers to Danielle Lang. Danielle has dedicated her whole life to school in completing her Masters in Psychology. There was no room for romance in Danielle’s life since she was so focused in making a better life for herself after experiencing first hand what it was like living in the foster care system. With tuition loans that needs to be paid as soon as possible, Danielle is forced into taking a job teaching sex therapy. Should be an easy job right to teach a bunch of students sex? Well here lies the problem, Danielle has no experience in sex. She’s a virgin. And so in order for her to teach about sex, why not cash in her V-card with an old high school acquaintance?

#HandsOn

Jack Rider is back home after a crippling knee injury has him on the sidelines. While Jack awaits if he can return to the NFL, he runs into the girl that he always had a crush on. Danielle wasn’t like any other girls who flaunted their way into Jack’s pants and he liked that about her. He liked that she’s a bookworm and finds her innocence charming. So when Danielle invites him over to her place, he eagerly accepts. But when Jack arrives and when it comes time to have sex, he notices Danielle is nervous and that’s when she drops the bombshell that she is a virgin and she wants him to teach her about sex or she will find another male to help her. Jack doesn’t want Danielle to learn from anyone else beside him and so begins his hands on lesson with the girl that he never forgotten.

photo 3067d09b03e749fcdd5db3fc7ecf2d_zps9qckxgky.gif “He looked so rugged and sexy… and dangerous… and in a few minutes he’d be in her bed, all six foot of hard muscle on top of her— pushing into her. Fucking her.”

Like I said earlier in my review, Hands On was a short, fun light, sexy romance that will have you begging Cathryn Fox for book two as soon as possible. So if you are looking for a quick read that is drama free and will heat up your e-readers then look no further than this sexy erotic serial.

Here's a new series that starts with a fun story line and leads off this cute story. A psychologist who knows absolutely nothing about sex seems a bit of a stretch but that is the basis for this fast read.

The Author brings us a strong male lead in Jake who happens to have a secret crush on Danielle and is more than willing to help her out. When he finds the true secret, he decides she needs a more delicate touch.

Since this story is just really the development stage for the next two installments in the series, you don't get a lot of action, so to speak, but you do get a lot of tension, some sexual build up, and a few laughs from the distinctly uncomfortable leading lady.

Hopefully the series will continue in the similar vein as this first part. It has a lot of potential to be a great series.

A recent graduate, Danielle, a psychologist has to teach a summer course on sex therapy. The only problem is, she's a virgin and has no experience. Her BFF talks her into asking an old high school acquaintance and hunky, NFL football player, Jack to teach her what she needs to know before her classes start.

This is super short and only part 1 of 3 books to come. If you go in with the mindset that this is a bit unrealistic, mainly due to Danielle's behavior, then this was a good start to a story. Danielle was too much the blushing virgin but despite that, I did enjoy the first part to this series. You learn that Jack has always had a thing for Danielle which makes this story more enjoyable and realistic on his part. I will definately continue with Part 2.

Hands On is the first book in a hot new serial. Danielle is looking for help in the sexual department so she can teach a class well, which sparks a two-week relationship with a sexy football player. Danielle and Jack have so much chemistry, and they also connect on a personal level that doesn’t involve sex.

This was a quick, hot read. Danielle’s circumstances makes this book very interesting. Jack seems to be the perfect man to help Danielle in this situation. The first part of this book was very likeable, and the end makes you want to keep reading about these two. I look forward to seeing what happens in the next part. ~ Leah, 4 stars

Okay... I'm coming back for book two for sure! This was a sexy read that kept me on the edge of my seat desperate for more. While I am yet to truly feel and believe in the chemistry between these characters I do like their story and the build; it feels as though we as readers are being just kept on edge and waiting as our FMC. The writing here was sexy and well paced and Cathryn Fox did an excellent job at keeping us at arms length and waiting for more... damn did she know we would be coming back. I'm hoping in book two we get even more spice and more story to truly add to these characters and the journey of the book.

Cute setup for this super sexy first part of a 3 part serial! Danielle is a newly minted psychologist with a small problem - she's got to teach a sex therapy class in a few weeks, and she's a virgin! Her friend's solution is to have Danielle find a man to show her the ropes (pun intended) of hot and dirty times for two weeks. And it just so happens that her old high school crush Jack, a football player retired with an injury, is back in town (and used to have a crush on her too...)

I really liked the way the story progressed, with Danielle approaching Jack and him being smart enough to ask questions about why she wants to sleep with him (and not just giving in to the little head's advice). What results then is the start of a friendship with benefits where Jack is determined to go slow with Danielle and not just 'do the deed' - starting with some super steamy phone sex. There is no cliffhanger ending, it just ends with Jack's promises to Danielle that there is more to come (again, pun intended). I liked both the characters, Jack being a nice, friendly and confident man and Danielle the somewhat shy virgin willing to get out of her comfort zone. Looking forward to part 2!

If it’s one thing Cathryn Fox can do is she can write the heck out of a Scorching book. I know you feel me on what this means so I don’t need to elaborate and give ya’ll all kinds of details but … holy fuck!!

Now, keep in mind that this book is only part 1 of a three part serial. It is ridiculously hard to review a story in serial mode. I’ve never really been able to. I have to wait until I’ve read all installments. But what I can tell you is that this story has some serious potential. It has started with a bang and knowing Cathryn’s work as well as I do, I have no doubt in my mind it will also travel with a bang and end with a bang! #TRUST … so stay tuned …

The blurb of the book gives you the set-up and if after just reading that you’re not intrigued, then I can’t help you! :)

**I received an ARC from the publisher and/or Author through Netgalley for an honest review**

Hands on is part one of a three part serial. I don't particularly care for reading serials that go by Parts because this novel literally had five chapters. With that being said i read the synopsis and immediately after reading i clicked request a copy. Hands on had me hooked from the synopsis. Now that could have went one or two ways. Hands on could have been misleading by the synopsis but thank you lord it wasn't.

Hands on centers around the lead protagonist Danielle Lang who is a therapist that specializes in family counseling. Danielle has just signed up to be a sex therapist for a class. The only reason she signed up to do this is because she needs the money and the hefty paycheck involved is to hard to deny. There is just one problem...Danielle is a VIRGIN...and i'm not talking 'I've done everything except the big thing'...no she is a hardcore i'm all innocent virgin. Danielle is contemplating on dropping the job when her best friend Violet talks her into randomly hooking up with someone so she has the experience she needs to teach this sex therapy class.

In walks Jack Rider. He's a hot football player who is trying to recuperate from a horrible knee injury and who is also obviously sidelined. Violet feels Danielle should ask Jack to "Help her out" with her situation. But Danielle being the shy one decides against the idea.

Later on Jack is surprised to find Danielle walking into the shop where he works as a mechanic dressed in clothes that are obviously not her. But what shocks him most is the proposition she makes him. She wants Jack to teach her the ins and outs. but will Jack deny her proposal or accept it?

I really enjoyed Hands On by Cathryn Fox. It was a fascinating start to the series. I can't wait until August when part 2 comes out.

I loved the fact that Danielle was portrayed as an 'innocent' virgin unlike some novels when the virgins are promiscuous. Danielle was shy and completely one hundred percent innocent. I really enjoyed Jack also. he is caring when it comes to doing what is right by Danielle and forcing her to take a step back and slow down a little.

The characters in Hands On were flawless. The emotional connection of Jack and Danielle is told beautifully. Hands On wasn't rushed it was told at the perfect pace. Cathryn Fox had me hooked from the first page.

How is it possible for a book to be scorching but also at the same time cute with an innocent vibe to it? I have no clue either...but Cathryn Fox managed to pull it off effortlessly!

I just wish Hands On was a full length novel instead of three parts. But that is just me..I'm greedy like that.

And did i mention the cover....Holy Hotness!!!

Hands On by Cathryn Fox is coming out on July 18th. It's a definite must read!!!

Hotness Rating 3 out of 5

Holy Hotness I have no idea even where to start with this book. Hands on is the first installment of this serial read from Cathryn Fox. There is so much packed into this less than 100 page story my mind was blown. I will be honest, about 20% in my first thought was that this book is probably going to bring the sizzle, but have very little story or depth. Boy, was I wrong.

Danielle Lang was such a fun, awkward and quirky character to read. She's always focused on her education and just let everything else go by the wayside. Now, that she is needing practical knowledge of sex it's become a glaring priority. I would have been disappointed if all of a sudden she turned into a proficient sex kitten throwing herself at Jack. Thank goodness that is not at all what happened. We got to enjoy her bumbling, yet endearing attempts at seduction. I can not wait to read more of this story and see how she develops.

Jack Rider is a superstar football player just trying to heal from his injury so he can get back in the game. He's had this thing for Danielle when they were in high school but never acted on it because of her less than enthusiastic responses to his attempts at being nice all those years ago. Now, all of a sudden she's propositioning him and he's up for the job in more ways than one. That is until he catches on that she may be saying that she wants him but her body says differently. I love that when he found out the whole story he stepped up and made it his mission to make it the best possible experience he can.

This book is just the set-up for the rest of the series meaning no sex and just a brief insight into what is coming. I loved this approach. Like I said there was quite a bit of backstory revealed as well as a good start in getting to know these characters. For a book with no actual sex (other than of the phone variety) it was hot! Seriously hot! If this is what it's like before they actually have intercourse I'm not sure I will survive the actual act. The next book cannot be released fast enough for my liking.

“You want sex, I’ll give you sex.” His low, deep voice embodied control, and did the strangest things to her body. “But before I put my cock inside you, I want to touch and taste every inch of you.”
She gulped. Oh God, I want that, too.

Hands On is the first book in a three book serial and I loved every second of this short novella. I am absolutely and irrecoverably in love with Jack Rider.

Danielle is in a bind. In order for her to get a job with her new degree in therapy, she agrees to teach students sex therapy. Problem is, she needs a little hands on experience. Problem solved when sexy Jack walks in. The sexy quarterback of her teenage fantasies has just what she needs.

He has had the hots for Danielle since high school and now she needs his help. But he's going to do it on his terms. A wonderfully delectable dirty talker, Jack is more than happy to teach Danielle but if he only has two weeks, he's going to make every second count. He is a scintillating seductive, swoon worthy character.

Catching her by surprise, he gripped her hips and spun her around. His lips found hers again, but this time they were a little more forceful, more demanding. A quick nudge had her walking backward, and when he had her pinned against the wall, caging her with his chest, he gripped her hands and shoved them over her head.

Book one, while short, is filled with heat and sweetness. Danielle is adorably sweet, innocent and utterly lovable. These two make quite a pair and I can not wait to see where this journey into sexual exploration will lead them.

Entertaining experience!

This is a review for the three-part serial Hands On.

I didn’t want to wait between each novella, so I read it all at once, and I suggest you do it too. I really enjoyed all parts, and you shouldn’t read them out of order.

Hands On is a great start. We get to know the characters, their motivations, and there’s no hurry about that. Body Contact is where things start to really heat up! We meet Jack’s family, where we begin to hope his brothers might have their own book. Full Exposure continues the sexy encounters and, of course, has a happy ending.

I was very satisfied with how this serial was plotted. Though I’m very tired of reading about BDSM, this story didn’t show as much as I first expected. The ending felt misplaced, I felt it did’t match with the pacing of the story. I will read more books by Cathryn Fox, her words flow in a very natural way and hooks the reader right from the first page.

I received an eARC of Hands On #1 in exchange for an honest review.

Ok so this is a book chopped in three parts, this is part 1.

3.5 stars

Mild spoilers ahead...

So, we get a shy psychologist virgin that just got a job as a sex therapist or something to the effect. Obviously she has zero Hands on experience and can't even say pussy or cock aloud. The thing is she needs the money of that extra job so she can save to purchase her dream house.

Then Jack Rider walks in the cafe. Yes, that Jack Rider, her high school crush (turns out he had the hots for her in high school too), the hot NFL QB. So who better to help her with her little problem?

Despite having his parents example of marriage, Jack (and his two brothers and best friend too) goes around having meaningless sex. And that is good, because if he had stayed chaste, waiting for the right woman to come or for his high school crush, he wouldn't have been of use to the h, right? I'm not that convinced either but hey let's give him a chance to prove he's not an ass taking advantage of the h's offer.

Thanks to Netgalley and Entangled: Scorched for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The premise is not very new but I still enjoyed the setting and the characters.
There was some great chemistry between Danielle and Jack and I liked them individually as well.

I am really curious to find out how their relationship will continue.

Hands On has me desperate to find out what happens when the passion between Danielle and Jack truly catches fire.

This short installment introduces Danielle and Jack; two of the most adorable, cutest characters I have ever come across. Seriously, these guys are just so darn loveable.

Danielle is the quintessential geeky, good girl although she has a lot of emotional issues stemming from her lack of family and growing up within the foster care system. She has thrown herself into her studies, creating a life and home for herself, never having the time to date or explore her femininity. So when faced with teaching a class on human sexuality, Danielle feels very out of her league. She desperately needs this job in order to secure her home and her future. Her dream to help families to fill the void she has had in her life. However, there is the tiny problem of never being attracted to anyone enough to even contemplate getting intimate with them. That is no-one apart from her high school crush, none other than Jack. Danielle has crushed on Jack since he helped her pick up her books one day in school; although she is sure he would never find her attractive. She really doesn't see herself clearly; weighed down by feelings of inadequacy stemming from her lack of family support. Although very self-aware due to her degree in psychology, Danielle has yet to fully work through her own issues.

Jack just happens to be back in his hometown following a serious injury that may impact his future sports career. He has his own issues where relationship are concerned, having a high-profile, successful sports career drags all the bugs out of the woodwork. Jack has secretly admired Danielle for years, even attempting to get to know her better only to have his attempts shutdown. Although this was caused by Danielle's shyness, Jack assumed she wasn't interested in him, even with this thinking Jack's interest in Danielle did not decrease over the years. So colour him intrigued when Danielle propositions him for lessons in intimacy.

The shocks keep coming for Jack when he discovers just how innocent Danielle really is; although he has his doubts, Jack is more than willing to fulfill the role Danielle needs. However, Jack proves just how amazing he really is by laying down some ground rules for them to follow while exploring all the things.

I cannot wait to see how their relationship progresses and just what sort of things Danielle is going to learn.

Will Jack recover from his injury and resume his sporting career? we will have to wait for Body Contact to find out!!!!!!!

Danielle Lang is way out of her depth with her new job and with lack of sexual encounters as well. Danielle's new job expects her to talk to a bunch of people who she has never met before about sex and everything that goes with it. To some people it maybe a walk in the park but to Danielle it is a little more complicated given the fact that she has no experience what-so-ever with sex.
Jack Rider has had his fair share of bad luck lately with his football career being on hold due to an injury. Working in his father's auto shop was meant to be keeping his mind off of his failing career but nothing can make him forget. When Danielle asks him to teach her about sex for her sex therapy class, he is surprised not only because she asked but because he had a crush on her in high school. Although when Jack gets to know Danielle more, he realises that she is hiding something from him and that not is all it seems especially when it comes to why she wants his help and what he can get in return.
I have been a big fan of Cathryn Fox and I knew as soon as I read the first page of Hands On that it would become my next favourite book series by Cathryn. My favourite character would have to be Danielle, I liked how she was willing to do whatever it takes to do the best job possible. I also love her passion to get her own practice one day, the place she has in mind would be the ideal place and it reminded me of a old bookstore that you could only dream of owning.
Hands On is a sexy yet sweet book that is thrilling at the same time. I loved the theme of the book, it is different from any other I had read. I can't wait to read the what happens next, I have just started to read the next book and is getting sexier by the minute.
If I had to sum this book up in three words, they would be Sexy, Daring and Passionate.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

I have to confess to not being a huge fan of installment stories - but Ms Fox is a very reliable author, so I trusted her to give me enough, and the next one is out very soon. I was right to read it!

This is a short but entertaining read - which is both funny, cute and sexy. It sets up the scene perfectly, gives us two really strong characters and a bestie who appears very briefly, but is important nonetheless. I like that the scenario is based on two people who have met before - in fact who it would seem have unrequited feelings on both sides, and who are both intelligent and caring human beings. These things matter when setting up a story that readers have to invest in for a few weeks or months - and it is pitched just right, I think.

All in all a great start ... roll on the release of the next one!
