"How do you possess someone without imprisoning them? How do you hold a heart in the palm of your hand without crushing it?"

I absolutely loved the first book in this series! I had no idea how Kristy Nicolle was going to beat the first book, but she did! The Kiss That Saved Me blew my mind! Once again, I have no idea how one person's mind came up with this story. Kristy is BRILLIANT!

The Kiss That Saved Me is the second book in The Tidal Kiss Trilogy. Callie and Orion are faced with a huge

Ok so I absolutely loved this book and am giving it 5 stars! This book is full of action and adventure, love, and chaos. It kept me awake at night to make me read more!! I was so sad when this book was finished and am going to try to wait patiently for the next book without tormenting the author! Thank you so very much for all the emotions. I felt like I was there with the characters.
Oh, and about the characters, I love Orion. Callie was great and dealt with a lot in the months after becoming

Author Kristy Nicolle proves with book two of The Tidal Kiss Trilogy that she is truly a force to be reckoned with as she has given us a unique look into how her writing style can evolve from light to dark. We are given the opportunity to delve into the dark recesses of the author's mind as this book is nothing like the first and we are afforded a completely dark and compelling read like no other. The characters that we have grown to either love or hate have evolved beyond my greatest ...more

I can't say no to this series. I reminded myself that I had a list a mile long that needed doing and I should set it aside for now, but... I'm really not good with altruistic abstinence The second book in the Tidal Kiss trilogy, The Kiss That Saved Me, gives its readers all sorts of new what-the, what-thes, and plot twists (black has always been my favorite color - consider me pleased). Book 2 will open your eyes to the author's expertly dropped plot crumbs in book 1 - shock waves!

Another amazing mermaid tale from the great Kristy Nicolle!

The first book in this series took the time to set the stage, going into great detail about what things were like and how they were supposed to look. That gave THIS story the chance to jump right into things and take you on another amazing ride.

I can't even begin to tell you the slew of emotions I felt while reading this story. There were times I was verbally cussing out my kindle or actually found myself wanting to cry. It's hard not

I have given The Kiss That Saved Me 5 rock solid stars for just being E.P.I.C!

This is the second book in The Tidal Kiss Trilogy and picks up shortly after the events of book one. Callie and Orion are dealing with the fallout of those events and the consequences of Callie's actions reach far deeper than anyone could have imagined.

In the second book we see a darker side to Callie, one that makes her dangerous but it's something she needs to go through in

After reading book one I couldn't wait to jump into the second one. I have never read a story about Mermaids before and I was pleasantly surprised at just how much I liked the first book. However, the story is not just about Mermaids, this story covers a whole lot more - the good, the bad and the ugly! Love, Loss, treachery, friendship, forgiveness, hatred, and war; a war between good and evil.
The characters are great even the bad ones! I’m not saying I like the bad ones but they stir things up

Things have been difficult for our girl Callie. Sure, she's got a second chance at life with the mega hot Orion as her main man, but not even some rock hard abs and a piercing blue eyes can save her when she delves deeper into her new self, which puts the future of an entire race into her hands. Callie is growing into her own and maturing into a true leader. Still, it's more than most teenagers can handle, and while being the rulers of the mermaids sounds like a dream, she and Orion have a bit ...more

The Kiss That Saved Me is a marvelous continuation from The Kiss That Killed Me. Callie is crowned Queen and has to deal with all the responsibilities that come with the title. All the while trying to figure out who she is now. It definitely puts a strain on her relationship with Orion. And speaking of, he's so damn swoon worthy. I love their dynamic. While crazy stuff happens, they actually see through their issues, and come out better for it. Azure and Starlet, that was heartbreaking. And the ...more

I went straight into this book from book one and again I just could not get enough. Seeing Callie grow and develop from an awkward teenager into a warrior and queen is really something. Her progression through the story sees her make mistakes and run away from them, I felt the frustration that Orion felt but I could also empathize with Callie, having to adjust not only to mer life but also to life as a queen.

Once again the backdrop to the story is described beautifully. The author puts such

Book 2 picks up after four months have passed. The characters are coming together so nice in this story even tho there might be some that I just want to reach thru the pages and throat punch really hard. Callie is an awesome character that I can see a little of her in me and I think this is what makes the me so drawn to this story.

NARWHAL RIDERS!!!!!! and the book that made Orion discover that the world didn't revolve around his bloody hurt ego...I really loved this book because it had a crap ton of character development like I mean Callie did her stupid things, Orion stopped whining like lil' bish and Saturnus proved me right. Azure is still badass and I like her.

Title: The Kiss That Saved Me
Series: The Tidal Kiss Trilogy
Note: Book 2 of 3 and does have a cliff hanger ending
Author: Kristy Nicolle

This is my review of The Kiss that Saved Me, book 2 in The Tidal Kiss Trilogy. I got this second book in the series free in exchange for an honest review. . This is the continuation of a great series but it cannot be read as a standalone because it flows into the next book. Be warned though you will not want to stop with just this one book and I am ready to find

The Kiss That Saved me is book 2 in the Tidal Kiss Trilogy. It picks up right where The Kiss that Killed me left off. In this installment we get to see Callie and Orion grow more as they accept their fate and try to deal with the consequences of other’s actions.
I completely fell for Orion in book one and let me tell you, he is even better in this book. He is strong and protective, yet has a vulnerable side that you wouldn’t expect from a mer who has lived over 500 years. Callie is as strong and

I absolutely loved the 2nd book in this amazing series by Kristy Nicolle.

In book 2, you see a darker sider to Callie and one that takes her on a dangerous journey to try and find what she is looking for.

Kristy Nicolle has such a way with words you cannot help but be drawn in. Her imagination is amazing and she is so descriptive, you cannot help but feel like you are actually swimming with the mer people.......

This is one series I would recommend to anyone and I can’t wait to start book 3!

The mermaids are back!

THE KISS THAT SAVED ME picks up right where THE KISS THAT KILLED ME left off, starting off with a tone that already suggests that trouble is brewing in what is seemingly paradise to others. With newfound and heavy responsibilities saddled on both Orion and Callie, they find that they are handling it all in a different way...unhealthy, for starters.

Orion and Callie begin to struggle with their ideals concerning each other as well as life; Orion is from an old time where he

When I read the first book "The Kiss That Killed Me" I was impressed with Kristy's writing style. She flawlessly jumps from character to character showing us how each emotion is felt by the character who is the focus of the chapter. I was happy to see that she continued that style of writing in this story. I feel it has allowed me to experience a wide range of emotion right along with Callie, Orion, Azure and Solustus. The characters are developed beautifully and I can vividly picture how Callie ...more

This second book in the trilogy was a thrilling follow-up to the first, The Kiss that Killed Me. It took us in a completely different direction than I expected, using an absolutely surprising route compared to the first book. We learn so much about both species, the Mer and the Psirens, their weaknesses and their strengths, what motivates them and how they came to be. We meet beings that are stunning and others that are absolutely frightening. But possibly the most important thing we learn is ...more

Review of The Kiss That Saved Me (The Tidal Kiss Trilogy Book 2) by Kristy Nicolle

This is the 2nd book in the Tidal Kiss Trilogy. I believe this book took Kristy Nicolle to the next level in her career. Book one was a YA fantasy novel, this book launched her into NA fantasy. Callie went from this typical teenage girl in book one and then in book two launched her through a change emotionally mentally and of course obviously physically. She grew in book two from this

This is the second book in this series and it takes Callie on a very different dark and dangerous path from where she first became a Mer and fell in love with Orion. We see her grow up and become strong and independent, while following her own desires. I really didn't like her character in parts of this story but I do understand the need for her to do the things she did and her interaction with Vex was all a part of the circumstances that she found herself to be in from previous events. Wow! Each page was unexpected and brilliantly written, Kristy Nicolle deserves her 5 stars.

The Kiss That Saved Me follows straight on from The Kiss That Killed Me.

Callie and Orion are both dealing with the trauma from the first book. Orion has the responsibility of becoming crowned ruler thrust upon him. Callie feels stifled and over protected, becoming desperate to discover who she really is.

This isn't like book one; Its not all flowers and rainbows but true grit and determination.

This is the second installment in the trilogy was much more enjoyable for me. The story just keeps getting better! I don't want to give anything away for this installment in the trilogy, but I love how the myth keeps growing more intense.

I'm excited for the end of the trilogy and to see how the author decides to end the story. So much is going on with the characters, their destinies, and all the people around them. I love a story that has so much going on and so many people's future intricately
