Short biographies of various Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Cornish, Northumbrian and Manx saints with a description of the sites associated with them. All right as far as it went, but I had been hoping for some actual theology of place or at least some consideration of how their landscapes may have shaped the saints' characters, and I was disappointed; the book is purely descriptive. Even the photography is a bit pedestrian.
