I thought I was going rattle through this book but there’s a lot of detail in it. It covers the 8th USAAF from inception until the end of WWII in all its components. Bombers, fighters, training, brief biographies of the commanders and personalities. It also covers the Group and Squadron markings. It’s a very interesting book.

A wonderful addition to my library concerning the history and battle record of my father's service in THE USAAF in WWII. A book that I keep close as a remembrance of him.
