Honestly one of the worst books I have ever read, I got it for 3 dollars at HPB and it was 5 dollars too expensive.

Standard disaster book. An experiment causes weather patterns to change resulting in a disastrous drought in the Midwest. As the drought continues crops die, people die, violence increases, wild animals attack. Can our heroes find the solution in time?
