Finally, I've also published the Neil Marshall series of culinary mysteries set in Houston, Texas. These include If Wishes Were Horses, A Whisper of Rage (nominated for a Shamus Award), People in Glass Houses, A Catered Christmas (the one I most enjoyed writing), and Dead Man's Broth.

I liked the book and the main character overall. It had pretty good pacing. I would've given it a four if there had been a more interesting mystery to solve.
Still, I love Christmas mysteries, so this one was an easy read.

A subpar mystery read. I wanted to get into it but it really didn't make me wonder who did that much.
