Interesting Web that's Weave

From start to finish this new series is a great spine tingling mystery yet romantic group of people who are just trying to be. Looking forward to next in this storyline.

The world of The Web gets more warped and intertwined in book 2. Though this book is largely about Mather and his point of view--which in itself is quite mysterious (I was often as baffled as Poppy as to what was holding him back from pursuing his interest in her!)--the story follows the actions and thoughts of the rest of the Northwest PAC in a mixture of plot twists, danger, fighting, attraction, romance and friendship. The anti-magic-being Fairfax Alliance is still up to no good, sending thre ...more

Mather, the second book in the Tangled Web Series, is an exciting and captivating sequel to Rylen. The interweaving storylines capture your attention and keep you turning the pages right to the very end. This book not only continues the tale of Rylen, Alana and the PAC's continued battle to survive the deceptions of the Black Widow and the Fairfax Alliance, but also tells the story of Mather, a wolf shifter and one of Rylen's inner circle. All the characters from the first book, both good and ba ...more

Mather, wow, what a book! This book had me on a roller coaster of emotions! Between Mather and Poppy, Rylen and Alana, and not to mentions some of the other characters (I'm my going to say who so I do not give anything away)!
I loved that this was Mather's story, but Ms. Wylie did not leave any other the important characters POVs out. It still focused on the PAC as a whole, but we got to see how Mather thought through most of it. His emotions and his duty seemed to pull him in so many different

Now this is a winner. Rylen was a great amazing read and left us wanting for more. Well more is what we received with Mather. The big burly guy gets knocked off his axis by the fiery red head Poppy. While the fight that Mather puts up to protect not only his heart but Poppy's as well is extremely entertaining it also touches the heart to see the pain they had both endured and were fighting there way back from. The action that surrounds this budding romance is intense. Rylen's crew not only battl ...more

This book took a little time for me to get through. I love the characters, however, all the indecision from Mather kinda turned me off to it a bit. I get his issues but, the constant hot/cold was a little bit much for me.

There are characters that I definitely can't wait to see more of (Gracie, Lucian, Enock, Jet). And, I love the creep factor that the villain has, the author does a great job with her.

I loved all the action in the book and the ending really surprised me. Looking forward to read

Loved it.

Mather is brooding in the worst way - he can't get over the past to move with a future that promises more.

I love how Morgan writes - the multiple perspectives give you the whole story for all involved parties. I love the PAC - and cannot wait to find out what is going on with Luc - he's truly the silent type - but you know there is more going on.

Great second book. I can't wait for the next one.

I was given this book for honest review. I loved how Mather was intense and in denial when came to Poppy. Meanwhile the Alliance was at it again and Black Widow is slowly showing her darkness and feeling more evil. I can't wait to see what happens with the rest of the PAC.

Morgan Wylie published her first novel, Silent Orchids, one year after moving across the country with her family on a journey of new discovery. After an amazing three years in Nashville, TN and the release of two more books, Morgan and her family found their way back to the Northwest where they now reside. Still working everyday with great optimism, Morgan continues to embrace all things: "Mama", ...more
