description

I absolutely adored the first book in this series so when I saw this one up on NetGalley, I knew that I had to have it. I remember just being completely enamored with every single sentence in that first one. But that is not how things ended up this time.

Everything was off to a great start ... in the beginning there was this one sentence about Lanie being cute when she is mad. My husband tells me the same thing and it always makes me want to simultaneously kick him in the kiwis and give him a bi

This is the second book in the Bachelor Brotherhood series and it comes from a spin off of the Wedding Pact series, which I loved.

This book we have Tyler, who is best friends with Kevin (Book 1) and Matt (Book 3). He is a groomsman in a wedding for one of his work colleagues and good friend, Randy. At a get to know the wedding party event, Tyler meets the lovely Lanie, cousin to the Bride - Brittany. Tyler is a lawyer, who is looking to make partner this year, and has been known to be a player.

3.5 Stars. This was pretty cute and I enjoyed it. I liked both Tyler and Laine, but never really fell in love with them. I thought the whole non-disclosure stuff with Laine's job was kind of odd and that whole storyline just didn't make a lot of sense to me. My favorite part was probably Tyler hanging out with his younger brother again. This was probably my least favorite book in this series, but it was still worth the read.

I really enjoyed the previous book in this series and was looking forward to reading this one. Based on the synopsis of this book, you would expect it to be a cute, fun and flirty story and you'd be correct to an extent. Tyler, the guy determined to avoid relationships and forever; Lanie, the workaholic with a nomadic lifestyle who has no time in her life for relationships and permanence; throw in some wedding activities, some klutzy moments from both main characters and you have the perfect rec ...more

There was nothing wrong with this book, the characters were by-and-large engaging and the plot moved along well but it didn't really grab my attention. I think part of my frustration was that I knew that the characters were somehow connected to one of Denise Grover Swank's other series' but I didn't recall how (it kept niggling at me).

Tyler Norris is a hot-shot lawyer and a groomsman at his best friend's imminent wedding. It's one of those weddings that goes on and on and on and, in this case, i

I've never read anything by this author and I was pleasantly surprised with this book. It was a cute, funny and a light hearted read. As much as I enjoyed the story I did have a few minor issues. The relationship between Lanie and Tyler was supposed to be fun and no commitment which I was ok with but then they developed feelings and everything happens 1,2,3 and it was kind of unbelievable. They did have chemistry and the sex was hot but I would have liked to have more time with the couple especi ...more

3.5 stars;

A quick and sweet addition to the Bachelor Brotherhood series, Until You fits right into the cute rom-com genre. After a crazy ex-girlfriend puts playboy Tyler off from the dating scene he meets workaholic Lanie who just wants a no-strings fling while she's in town. The perfect scenario for the both of them until love decides to complicate things! (/read in a movie announcer voice).

This was a classic cute comfort read, nothing too utterly surprising or out there, just easy, fluffy, fun

Another great story from Denise Grover Swank! I love that the characters are interesting, intelligent and though there are communication problems, their issues are not childish, whiny high school-ish situations. There are plenty of laughs when you throw in some silly wedding fun and crazy accidents, too. And who wouldn't love a grand gesture?! 💜💜

** ARC PROVIDED BY THE AUTHOR FOR AN HONEST REVIEW **

Until You by Denise Grover Swank is a funny, happily ever after romance set in Kansas City, MO.

Until You by Denise Grover-Swank

This is the second book in Grover-Swanks Bachelor Brotherhood series and can absolutely be read as a standalone. It's the story of Tyler and Lauren: a lawyer and a super-secretive workaholic. Tyler and Lauren meet when they're thrown together for their best friend and cousins (respectively) wedding and the sparks between them are alight from the word go. While they try hold off on acting on their mutual attraction, they decide that since neither is attached or lo

My Review:
I really enjoyed the setup of this book. Lanie and Tyler are both part of a wedding party and have instant chemistry. She's only living in town temporarily (a month). They fight it at first because neither one wants to complicate their lives and they aren't looking for a relationship (either one of them), but the draw becomes too tempting, so they decide to ride the sexual tension until they get tired of the super hot sex. You can see exactly where this book is going...

Seriously, while

Another one bites the dust....

You know you're asking for trouble when you make a pact with your best friends to avoid women. Seriously, how long did you think that would last? When friend #1 went down after one day...it was inevitable that another would fall soon after.

Here we are five months later and the eternal bachelor is chasing the eternal bachelorette. One wedding, tons of photos, and wild chemistry make it impossible to stay in the one night only zone.

But when work, commitments

He's a reforming heartbreaker. She's a workaholic nomad. Neither have a romantic bone in their bodies. Until a wedding, a pact and a kiss lead to an attraction that is not to be missed. I've been head over heels for this band of brothers since Only You, made an appearance on my book shelf. Not only does Ms. Swank dish out some romance, she delivers on the bromance as well. Until You continues that instant connection of love, life and friendship that drives author Denise Grover Swank's novels. Bo ...more

I DNF'd this book at 20% in. The characters and plot didn't hold any interest for me.

I liked the first book in the series, so I'll certainly give other books by this author a try. Until You didn't work for me though.

I really enjoyed UNTIL YOU.

I thought the characters were great and I loved the story. Tyler and Lanie are hilarious together. Their animosity toward each other hid a fiery passion that neither one could deny for long. They had great chemistry and even greater camaraderie.

UNTIL YOU is a fast read full of laughs and love and I'd recommend it to any reader.

Everything in Lanie Rogers life revolves around her work, she is constantly on the phone handling one job related task or another, or spending late hours at the job site, which means her personal life is almost non-existent. Not that she has time in her busy schedule for love anyway, but that doesn't stop her cousin Brittany from constantly trying to set her up or get her to ditch work to have a little fun. With her cousins wedding approaching she knows she needs to ease up on her work schedule ...more

Denise Grover Swank is one of my favorite authors and I did enjoy book one in this series (Only You), but with Until You there were so many details that didn't add up that I just lost interest in the plot.
First, that Tyler would offer to pick a lock just because he's in a hurry to have sex was probably an attempt at humor but it fell flat. That as a lawyer he would offer was just weird; that Lanie would accept was even worse. And since she was renting, shouldn't there be someone she could ask f

Until You is a lovely story about finding true love at the most unexpected time and place. The pre-wedding setting was charming, and I loved the characters, even if I just wanted to knock some sense into them at times! The heroes, Tyler Norris and Lanie Rogers, are perfect strangers and temporary partners: Tyler is a groomsman and Lanie is a bridesmaid in the same wedding.

Tyler is a self-proclaimed life-long bachelor and hates weddings. And yet he couldn’t refuse to attend the multiple

Until You: Bachelor Brotherhood, Book 2 is by Denise Grover Swank. Denise has taken three of the minor characters from her Wedding Pact series and written their stories. This has turned out to be a great series. The series is well written and the characters are definitely realistic. Three of the men had created a group called Bachelor Brotherhood when they had all decided to give up women. It didn’t last long at all as Kevin succumbed almost immediately to Holly. Now Tyler Norris was roped into ...more

I am completely enjoying Denise Grover Swank’s BACHELOR BROTHERHOOD series. UNTIL YOU is book number two, and it can be read as a standalone. I liked how some of the characters from the first book showed up in this story. This is the second novel that I have read by Ms. Swank, and I can’t wait to read more of her work.

The second book in the series, has Lanie Rodgers in town for her cousins wedding plans and the opening of a new store for a company she works for. She is not looking forward to all of the festivities that go on with a wedding and though she wants to be with her cousin her cousin is always trying to fix her up with someone. ...sigh... I like most books by this author. I read the first in the series (Only You) last year. My review basically said it was a good airplane read, too much "sex sells" and I called it a typical chick-lit book. I had really hoped for more with book #2, but nope.

I get that we live in a different era than the elegant love stories of the past. And while 'life' may be different, I really admire authors that rise against the current trends and make their heroes good old fashioned gentlemen. It m

I really enjoyed this story and Tyler and Lanie are fantastic characters. This book was a lot of fun to read and had me smiling and giggling and just falling in love with these two. This book can definitely be read as a standalone.
